Five years ago, Qi Aifeng was just an ordinary rural woman. But over the past five years, her reputation and fame have become higher and higher, which has not only won praise at the intersection of young and old in the village, but also impressed young people in neighboring villages.

In December 2004, Qi Aifeng and her husband Zhou Jianlin went home from a snack business to celebrate the Spring Festival. When she saw the vast expanse of abandoned beaches on the edge of the village, she felt it a pity not to make good use of it. So she discussed with her husband that she wanted to contract these beaches to grow fruit. When the husband heard this, he firmly opposed and said, "if you are familiar with snacks and earn cash, other people can't get out by all means. We finally go out and want to come back instead. I object!" Qi Aifeng identified the goal. Finally, the husband could not resist her persistence and reluctantly promised her to give it a try first. if not, he would go back to his old job. Qi Aifeng found a partner in the same village and contracted more than 40 mu of river beach land in 2005. The beach is contracted. What kind of fruit should I grow? Qi Aifeng inspected the market in many ways and visited the experimental base of Zhejiang University. Under the guidance of Zhang Shiliang, a professor at the Agricultural College of Zhejiang University, she chose to plant raisins and invested more than 400,000 yuan to build a greenhouse planting base.

Only Qi Aifeng, who had a junior high school education, picked up books again and delved into American seed cultivation and management techniques. If I don't understand, I will learn from my peers, ask Professor Zhang Shiliang for advice, record my experience in the management process every day, and constantly sum up my practical experience.

After the successful introduction of the first batch of raisins, Qi Aifeng targeted the cultivation of high-grade vegetables. In 2008, she and her brother contracted more than 10 mu of beach land to cultivate anhydrous vegetables in a greenhouse. After more than a year of experiments, the anhydrous vegetable base has also achieved obvious economic benefits. This year, Qi Aifeng contracted more than 40 mu of beach land for the third time, built a new steel pipe shed, introduced new varieties of raisins, expanded the seed planting base, and established a professional cooperative for seed breeding in Xianju Xinyu, which carried out seed and vegetable interplanting and asked for benefits from scale operation.
