Last Updated: 2024/11/05, College students return to their hometown to start a business and raise Loach to lead the villagers to become rich together.

On May 25, in Gaoshan Village, Pulun Town, Longchang County, Li Kaijiang, partner of Xinsheng Loach Farm, rolled up his trousers and transferred Loach seedlings in the pond.

In 2012, three like-minded college students, Lu Fujian, Li Kaijiang and Li Wendan, returned to their hometown to start a business and built a Xinsheng Loach farm. "Pu run Town is a big aquaculture town, mainly composed of four major fish, and the profit is not high. We want to change this situation with the technology we learned at Sichuan Agricultural University. " Li Kaijiang said.

The road to starting a business is difficult. When I get up at 6 o'clock in the morning, in addition to lunch and rest, I have to be busy until 9 o'clock in the evening. When I am on duty in the evening, I have to get up several times to check the condition of fish ponds. I have to do everything myself for breeding, breeding and marketing.

"one summer there was a typhoon that overturned our thatched cottage, and we almost backed out." Leader Lu Fujian said.

At the critical moment, departments at all levels in Longchang County gave a helping hand: the County Employment Bureau issued 10, 000 yuan in start-up subsidies to each person and helped to apply for 100000 yuan interest-free loans for the two-year period; the County Fisheries and Fisheries Bureau regularly arranged personnel to give technical guidance; Pulun Town helped apply for 80, 000 yuan in entrepreneurial support projects and coordinated funds to renovate the office space.

When participating in the entrepreneurship training organized by the county employment bureau for free, Lu Fujian also had new ideas on development ideas. "our technology has advantages, and the reason why we do not develop well is that the degree of scale operation is not enough. What can we do by relying solely on the 100 mu fish ponds contracted by ourselves?"

After consultation, the three people decided to set up a professional aquaculture cooperative to attract farmers in the town to work together with technical advantages to form a group combat advantage.

At the beginning of last year, the work related to the establishment of the exclusive agency was launched. In order to attract more members to join, the three people took out several ponds for the experiment and showed them step by step. "the villagers are all good at fish farming, so how can they be persuaded to follow suit if they don't come up with practical information?" Lu Fujian said.

As a result, in a culture season last year, the profit per hectare of fish ponds was 30,000 yuan higher than that of farmers themselves. More and more people are willing to join. By December last year, when Zhongxin Aquaculture Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Longchang County was established, it had more than 60 members, covering almost all aquaculture farmers in Pulun Town, with a farming area of nearly 300 hectares.

The family of Guo Fengkai, a 50-year-old villager from Gaoshan Village, is relatively difficult, and his wife's expenses for medical treatment are often unsettled. Last year, with the help of Lu Fujian and others, Guo Fengkai raised Loach seedlings for a season, with a net profit of 13000 yuan, an increase of nearly 10,000 yuan over previous years.

Under the leadership of three "leading geese", the traditional culture model in Pulun Town has also changed: from the Xinsheng Loach Farm to provide unified seedling supply, sales, and technical support; the breeding species have shifted from the traditional four major fish to Taiwan Loach, white mullet, yellow spicy fish and other high-profit species; from only selling adult fish to adult fish and fry sales. "this year, our fish fry and Loach fry have already been booked by large-scale farms in Yibin, Luzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing and other places, and the products are in short supply." Lu Fujian said that next, we will try to integrate the surrounding villages and towns, further expand the scale of farming, and lead more people to become rich.
