The "dream of getting rich" blooms in Cai Chang, a big farmer in Weining Xinfeng Village.
In June, walking into Lushan Town, the mountains of green tea and lush trees formed a unique scenery. in this green mountain, a shepherd in his 40s was walking in the mountains with a whip and driving a flock of sheep. He is Cai Changping, a rich man in Xinfeng Village, Lushan Town.
When it comes to Cai Changping's breeding experience, we have to start from many years ago when he explored the way to get rich.
Never give up on the way to get rich
Lushan Town, located in the northeast of Weining County, is a big coal-producing town. coupled with the prevalence of native zinc smelting in Weining at one time, the per capita income of the town has reached more than 2000 yuan in the 1990s, and many families have embarked on the road to becoming rich relying on their rich coal resources, and even become bosses.
Cai Changping, who lives in Xinfeng Village, Lushan Town, naturally did not escape the impact of the economic tide of the town. In his memory, from the age of 18, he began to struggle unremittingly. When he was in his 20s, he had already learned to drive a Dongfang car with the help and guidance of his friends. at that time, it was the energetic Cai Changping who used Dongfang cars to help others transport coal and burn zinc, while building several small furnaces in the village. like many people in Lushan Town, he had the dream of a boss of coal and zinc, and people envied him for a smooth life.
However, such a good time is not long.
In 1996, Cai Changping seemed to become an ordinary person overnight after the county's great rectification of coal kilns, cans and zinc burning.
After 1997, Cai Changping, who had little hope, chose to work in a small coal plant nearby, earning 5,000 to 6,000 yuan a month to live with his family.
However, after working for several years in a row, Cai Changping felt that working for others in a coal plant was never a long-term solution, so he thought of going home to start his own business and become rich.
In 2013, Cai Changping, who was full of entrepreneurial confidence, contracted more than 2000 mu of woodland in the village with the help of the Xinfeng Village Committee and began to develop underforest farming.
After nearly 10 years of struggle, Cai Changping never gave up on the road to becoming rich.
The road of breeding is uneven.
However, Cai Changping, who was bent on developing forest farming and getting rich, never thought of it, and he still stumbled again.
In 2013, when Cai Changping contracted more than 2000 mu of woodland in the village, he confidently planted more than 3000 Cryptomeria fortunei in the woodland, grafted more than 2000 pear trees by making full use of the wild sugar pear trees in the woodland, and raised more than 1000 native chickens in the woodland.
Looking at the Cryptomeria fortunei planted by himself in the contracted more than 2000 mu of woodland, the grafted pear trees, and the native chickens raised, Cai Changping was filled with expectation.
However, what Cai Changping did not expect was that in the winter of that year, due to the haste of time and the lack of any breeding experience, more than 500 native chickens were frozen to death by the cold current in the absence of a breeding base, and the remaining more than 400 were also lost in the forest one after another due to mismanagement. Cai Changping's dream of raising chickens to become rich was dashed, but he still did not lose heart.
In June 2014, Cai Changping, who refused to admit defeat after the failure of raising chickens, and several partners in the village once again borrowed 230000 yuan to build a pig farm on the original woodland, partnered with pig farming, and rented 40 mu of land from surrounding villagers to grow potato, rye and other crops for breeding purposes. After nearly two years of development, pig farming has finally grown to more than 100, but due to the sharp drop in pig prices and the high cost of input, the pig farming sales jointly invested by Cai Changping and his partners have lost all their money.
Along the way, the breeding road of Cai Changping and his partners is not smooth, but Cai Changping and others, who are at a disadvantage, are still unwilling to give up.
Work together to raise sheep and be happy
In April 2015, when Cai Changping and others felt depressed because of failure, there was a new turn for the better in the way of farming to get rich.
After inquiring from all directions, Cai Changping learned that raising sheep could make money at the home of a relative of Bai Lawn, and the country's help policy was very good, so the impatient Cai Changping hurried home to discuss with several partners to invest in raising local sheep again. As a result, the views of several partners happened to agree, and the partnership invested more than 100,000 yuan to buy back more than 200 local native goats from Bai Lawn for "captivity + stocking."
Soon, the number of sheep raised by Cai Changping and his partners grew to more than 300, showing a new hope of getting rich. several friends in the village felt that the sheep raised by Cai Changping and his partners had great prospects for development, and they also joined their partnership breeding circle. at present, the number of partners has grown to 9, and Cai Changping has become the "leader" of sheep farming.
Cai Changping said that taking into account the growing sheep, limited breeding sites and lack of funds and other factors, the nine partners are currently responsible for the division of labor and sub-site farming. Among them, five of the nine partners are each responsible for the breeding of 60 sheep, and the breeding method is to rush home for "captivity + stocking", while the other four are responsible for the source and turnover of breeding funds. and pay the hard expenses and living expenses of raising sheep to the five partners of the flock, 1500 yuan per person per month, and the profits earned after the sale of the flock are shared equally among the 9 partners.
During the interview, the reporter saw that more than 300 sheep were fat and healthy, and the breeding momentum was very good.
At the end of the interview, Cai Changping told the reporter that at present, the price of mutton is good in the market, and some merchants have ordered it from them, and the price ranges from 18 yuan to 20 yuan per catty. However, considering that sheep farming will continue to become bigger and stronger, and after forming a breeding system, they will sell it in batches. So far, they have not sold a sheep, and they are unwilling to sell it at this time. Therefore, there are many difficulties and problems, but he believes that everything will only be temporary. No matter how big the difficulties and problems are encountered, he and his partners will persevere and keep growing sheep farming. After the formation of the scale, it will drive more people around the demonstration to increase their income and become rich.
