As a result, in addition to consulting experts from the town's agrotechnical station, Wang Hongzhao often "went out" to consult local professional farmers in South Korea and Taiwan, and then combined with his own experience to choose different planting varieties according to the characteristics of different fields. He told reporters that Yangfumai 4 was more appropriate to fight scab, fusarium and other diseases, while Yangmai 16 matured early, and its fertilizer resistance and lodging resistance were general.

After more than six years of development, the field area of Wang Hongzhao in Xiaji town has been unable to meet his planting needs. in 2008, he began to contract fields in surrounding counties and towns, expanding nearly 2000 mu, the scale is getting bigger and bigger, and the benefit is getting better and better. In 2012, the central government proposed to vigorously cultivate new agricultural operators such as family farms. Wang Hongzhao thought about it again and again and felt that this was another rare opportunity for development. Subsequently, with the support of various departments, Wang Hongzhao registered the "Hongzhao Grain planting Family Farm" and became a family farmer, from single planting of varieties to the promotion of improved varieties and methods, which really increased grain production and household income.

Today, the villagers around think that Wang Hongzhao has methods and brains in farming, and he has played a leading role in the introduction of new grain varieties, the promotion of agricultural machinery, and the popularization of the use of advanced technology. Under the influence of Wang Hongzhao, some farmers who go out to work around Xiaji Village have returned to their hometown for farming and started planting on a large scale. More distinctive are three Korean-made rice field fertilizer dispensers, each of which is 130000 yuan, with a spray range of 12 meters and an operating area of 40 mu per hour. The farm also has laser leveling machine, spraying machine, after wheat harvest, the farm uses laser leveling machine to level the farmland; the spraying machine works on an area of 500 mu a day.

In addition, the farm also has mechanical rice seedling production lines, harvester and so on. "at present, the farm has more than 60 sets of large and medium-sized agricultural machinery, with a cumulative investment of 3 million yuan." Wang Hongzhao said that these large and medium-sized agricultural machinery have won farming time for farm production, plant protection and harvesting.
