Hatao Village is one of the 197 poor villages in Fuxin. In recent years, Hatao Village has made great efforts to develop the nectarine industry, and the days of the villagers have gradually become prosperous.

Standing in the double-film shed of the village branch, Qilin, it feels like entering a huge workshop where tricycles and four-wheelers can drive in directly. The largest single greenhouse in Fuxin, 300m long and 115m wide, covers an area of 3.3ha and has planted more than 8500 nectarines, just like a lush botanical garden. Qi Lin said: "this kind of greenhouse has good heat preservation effect, high land utilization rate, and can save 2% of land resources."

Zhao Zhonghe, a technician hired by Qi Lin from Yingkou, is busy in the field. "the soil and light in Fuxin are very suitable for nectarine growth, and nectarines are relatively easy to manage," he said. "villagers can master it after a period of time."

The enthusiastic Qi Lin picked a red nectarine for the reporter, which was sweeter than anything the reporter had eaten before. seeing that the reporter was puzzled, Qi Lin revealed two major secrets: one is that Fuxin has a large temperature difference between day and night, and there is enough nectarine sugar; second, this is a new variety "you 28", which tastes sweeter than traditional varieties.

The choice of nectarine in Hatao Village is a portrayal of the villagers' indomitable spirit. In the past, the villagers planted cantaloupe, but failed. The result of expert analysis is that the soil quality of Hatao Village is not suitable. Later, the villagers have planted eggplant, tomatoes, beans and so on, but a family is the same, can not form a scale, the villagers can not earn much money in a year. In 2010, Qi Lin first came into contact with nectarines in Yingkou and planted two greenhouses on his own land. Although the output in the second year was not much, the price was good, with a net profit of 15000 yuan per shed. After entering the full fruit period, a shed can earn 30,000 yuan.

Led by Qi Lin, the villagers also began to grow nectarines. Today, 20 hectares of nectarines have been developed in the village. A nectarine tree has become a veritable "green bank", and its income is dozens of times that of planting corn in the past. Villager Bai Chunming said: "nectarines are fairy peaches in our eyes!" Some poor families have also become rich by growing nectarines. The poor family Qi Zhantian provides for two children to go to school, and the family is in difficulty. Now he and his wife both work in the greenhouse in Qilin. Apart from making money, they have also learned a lot of skills with Zhao Zhonghe, and plan to build a greenhouse in the future.

Perhaps it is a coincidence that the name Hatao Village is predestined with peaches. Last year, Hartao Village began to pick, and the once closed village became lively. The villagers dream that one day it will become a famous "Xiantao Village". (Fuxin Daily)
