Quit your job and go back to your hometown only for filial piety.

Dong Wenbin was born in 1984 to parents of Donggangou Village, Fandian Township. In 2001, after he failed in the college entrance examination, he chose to go out to work. In 2002, he came to a star hotel in Ziyang City, where he stayed for seven years. "if you are not familiar with the land, you have to rely on yourself." Dong Wenbin recalled that when he first arrived in Ziyang, he started as a waiter and ran faster than anyone else to deliver tea and water, often the last to get off work. As a reward for hard work, he was soon picked up by the top management of the company, promoted from waiter to foreman, and then promoted from department head to branch planning manager. In early 2008, he became deputy general manager of the head office. For a moment, the family was proud of it, and relatives and friends praised it.

However, it was this year that Dong Wenbin made an unexpected move: quit his job and return to his hometown to fulfill his filial piety. Dong Wenbin said that when he was a child, he occasionally did some farm work at home, but this was the first time he had done such a real job. Not knowing the technology, he learned from books and the Internet. "build a pontoon with a bamboo pole, cut the plastic pipe into small pieces and fix it on the pontoon, and then plant the hollow cabbage seedlings in the pipe." The "huge" project took him a whole month. The vegetables were planted and thousands of fish were raised. While he was waiting for the harvest with confidence, he encountered a "Waterloo" in the first game.

"because you raise fish, you can't apply fertilizer, and you don't have pesticides, and the quality of hollow vegetables is so bad that no one buys them." No one is interested in the vegetables that have been planted hard. Dong Wenbin recalls that sometimes the money for pulling a truckload of vegetables to the city was not enough for the trip, and the stubborn he burst into tears for the first time.

In 2011, the opportunity came when an agricultural base in the town of moving was sold. After hearing the news, he immediately invited several young people, partnered and contracted down, and started his second business. "at that time, more than 500,000 yuan was invested to grow cucumbers, tomatoes and other seasonal vegetables." Dong Wenbin said that while developing the vegetable industry, he is also engaged in the fruit business. Get up before dawn every day, first go to the wholesale market to wholesale fruit, and then rush to the base to manage vegetables, and in the evening, busy delivering fruit to the casino. Several young people are steadfast and willing to work, coupled with the green planting of all the vegetable bases, the products have gradually gained a reputation in the market. By 2012, Dong Wenbin's pockets gradually bulged up.

At a time when Dong Wenbin was complacent, vegetable prices plummeted in 2013. "the wholesale price of cucumbers fell from 70 cents to 7 cents." Dong Wenbin's wife is from Ziyang, and his uncle's family has many years of experience in growing, processing and selling fruit. Led by him, the cooperative has built a grape base of 300 mu integrating planting, tourism, sightseeing and leisure. 100 mu of dragon fruit and 200 mu of oil peony are thriving. Over the past two years, the cooperative has won the titles of "province-wide green, healthy and assured food unit", "province-wide quality and integrity service 3A-level unit", "province-wide green business advocacy unit" and so on.
