In order to raise sika deer well, as soon as he has time, he pays close attention to learning sika deer breeding knowledge, browsing online information about deer breeding, and constantly summing up practical techniques for improving cage cleaning, feeding, cooling, epidemic prevention, and so on.

"Last year, five male deer reached adulthood, and they began to cut velvet antler in mid-May and late August, cutting it twice a year. Each sika deer produced more than 2 jin of velvet antler. According to the market price of 4000 yuan per jin, it made about 50, 000 yuan last year by selling velvet antler alone." Luo Shizheng said.

According to Luo Shizheng, the life span of a male deer can reach 15 years. Apart from not producing velvet antler in three years, the velvet antler produced by a male deer in its lifetime can be sold to about 120000 yuan; sika deer that do not produce velvet antler can also be sold to restaurants at a price of 6000 yuan each. coupled with the sales income of deer whip, deer tendons and deer tail, apart from the breeding cost of about 1500 yuan per year for a sika deer, raising a male deer can earn more than 100,000 yuan.

In order to drive more villagers to breed sika deer, Luo Shizheng set up Jingyu Yuan Deer Industry Co., Ltd. in December last year. "Sika deer are covered with treasures, and now I can only harvest velvet antler. The next step is to develop a relatively perfect deer product industry chain, so that the income will be higher." Luo Shizheng said that he plans to introduce finishing equipment for deer products, and in the future, he will gradually produce venison, deer skin, deer bone wine and other products, so as to increase the added value of deer products.
