At the height of summer, there is a busy scene in blueberry fields in Digou Village, which is located on the bank of the Yalu River on the northeast border. Green mountains and green waters dotted this beautiful village, but also lit up the local farmers' yearning for a new life.

Digou Village is known as "Blueberry Village", where 1800 mu of blueberry planting area is second to none in Ji'an City, Jilin Province. Five years ago, this blueberry field was still a cornfield, of which 3 mu belonged to villager Ju Zhenshan. Ju Zhenshan, 65, said: "one mu of corn earns less than 500 yuan a year, and one mu of blueberries earns 800 yuan. I gave the land to the village. I can earn 100 yuan to work here every day. My family life is getting better and better. With the addition of the freezer, the TV has been changed to more than 40 inches. "

There are 450 households in Digou village, all of which are related to blueberries. Wang Heling, a 61-year-old village secretary, told reporters that the Digou village had little land and a large population, and there were many detours in the development of the collective economy in the past. After more than three years of experiments, villagers began to plant blueberries on a large scale in 2011, and now production and sales are rising year by year. "this year is a bumper harvest. It is estimated that it will be able to harvest nearly 1 million jin and sell for more than 10 million yuan."

Planting blueberries has not only effectively aroused the enthusiasm of local farmers and made Digou village rich, and the adobe houses in the village have now been replaced by brand-new brick houses. In addition, many farmers have begun to use solar water heaters in their homes.

It is understood that 1200 mu of 1800 mu of blueberry land in Digou Village belong to the village collective economic project. When the villagers contract the land to the village, they can not only earn money by weeding and fattening the fields, but also get 20% of the total blueberry profits, 30% of the total dividends, and the remaining 50% will be used for public welfare undertakings such as repairing village roads and installing street lights.

Now we have gradually solved the problem of food and clothing. Ju Zhenshan said, "once people don't have a job, they will find a job every day, pay a salary in the village, and create a new way for everyone to get rich."

The blueberry fields are expanding year by year, and the pockets of the villagers are bulging year by year. Guo Weifu, who runs a shop in Digou village, has also tasted the benefits: "the consumption level of the people has improved, and all kinds of goods in my store are easier to sell. All the mulch films purchased at the beginning of the year were sold out at the beginning of spring, and now I have re-entered a batch to facilitate the village to purchase at any time. "
