On June 25, the author walked into Jiangchang Village, Jinxi Town, Wangcang County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, and saw that many villagers in the village were busy weeding and killing insects in their fields with the help of village director Jiang Mingfen.

It turned out that in order to set an example for the poor families in the village to shake off poverty and become rich, Jiang Mingfen, the female director of the village, took the lead in planting 2 mu of red kiwifruit in 2011, earning more than 2300 yuan in 2014 and 3000 yuan in 2015. The benefit of demonstration planting is good, and she has planted another mu this year.

The villagers saw that the kiwifruit planted by Jiang Mingfen was getting better and better, and they also used their own land to plant it. "it was Director Jiang who helped me develop this 6 mu of kiwifruit." He Zhengquan, a poor household in the village, told the author. He Zhengquan was poor due to illness, his family was in special financial difficulties, and he lacked a project to get rich. After learning about the situation, Jiang Mingfen mobilized him to develop hearts and kiwifruit and teach him skills hand in hand, hoping to help him get rid of poverty as soon as possible.

He Zhengquan said that the 6 mu of kiwifruit he planted in 2011 was put into production in 2014 and has earned more than 13000 yuan by 2015, and is expected to earn another 10, 000 yuan this year. "kiwifruit income, coupled with grain, native chicken and other projects, now earns nearly 50,000 yuan a year." According to he Zhengjiao, a villager who is also poor due to illness, Jiang Mingfen also invited her to plant 5 mu of red kiwifruit, earning more than 5000 yuan in 2015. Together with her son's income from migrant workers and raising chickens at home, her income is expected to reach 80,000 yuan this year.

In order to drive more villagers to develop the kiwifruit industry, in July 2015, Jiang Mingfen took the lead in establishing kiwifruit professional cooperatives to further help villagers broaden their channels to shake off poverty and become rich through the operation mode of "cooperatives + farmers". At present, 23 villagers have joined the cooperative to develop more than 200 mu of kiwifruit, with an estimated income of more than 170000 yuan this year.
