The entrepreneurial team pays close attention to the growth of Chinese herbal medicine all the time.

"although I was admitted to the university, I always wanted to do something when I thought of the backwardness and poverty of my hometown." In the 2013 college entrance examination, Zhao Qingchao, who lives in Yulu Township, Huize County, Qujing City, was admitted to Yunda Dianchi University. Although he came to the big city, he remembered that his hometown was located in the poor mountainous area of Wumeng, and the villagers supported their families by growing crops with low production capacity. As the third college student in the village, he felt obliged to let his fellow villagers come out of the situation of relying on heaven for a living.

After hitting a brick wall and making unremitting efforts, he, together with a group of college students with entrepreneurial dreams, registered Kunming Xiangtu Science and Technology Co., Ltd., obtained the right to use the patent of "water-retaining agent", and returned to his hometown to establish cooperatives with farmers. Lead local farmers to develop modern agricultural projects for the cultivation of Chinese medicinal materials, so that barren land that can only grow a few cents of "potatoes and corn" can grow precious Chinese herbal medicines. Now Zhao Qingchao is leading the villagers on the way to get rid of poverty and become rich.

Perplexity:

Corn and Potato dominates the fate of the village

In 2010, Yunnan was hit by the worst drought in a century, and in Zhao Qingzao's hometown village, the drought cracked farmland, farmers were unable to farm, and were forced to leave their hometown to work in other wells. Zhao Qingzao, who has experienced this, told the reporter that life in the countryside is difficult, and the land is dry and barren, and the only harvest is corn cobs and potatoes. These traditional crops can only feed their stomachs, or in the case of abundant Rain Water, in the event of a natural disaster, the villagers can only live frugally. To this end, Zhao Qingzao has been looking for ways to change the face of poverty in his hometown and lead farmers out of poverty to become rich.

Looking at the failure of the hard-working land of the people in his hometown, Zhao Qingzao's cousin Liu Yugui, a graduate student of Yunnan University, in order to solve the problem of agricultural land water use, research and invention in agricultural and forestry planting and soilless cultivation to play the role of water-saving, water conservation, fertilizer conservation of scientific research results-GN700 water-retaining agent. Learning that his cousin had successfully developed a water-retaining agent, Zhao Qing excitedly talked to him about the possibility of starting a business, but the reality was very cruel. There was no capital, no equipment, no income, and it was a bit of a pipe dream to talk about starting a business on the basis of a finished scientific research product.

Surprise:

The land is more suitable for planting Chinese herbal medicine.

Yang Yongkun is the monitor of Zhao Qingzao University, warm-hearted and sincere. When he learned that Zhao Qingzao was struggling to change the face of poverty in his hometown and was sad because he had no idea about starting a business, he took the initiative to find out about Zhao Qingzao. Then the two hit it off. After synthesizing the advantages and disadvantages of various aspects, they unanimously identified the project of "back-feeding hometown", which can change the status quo of most people's lives, as having great implementation and potential. After simple communication with his family, Yang Yongkun decided to "join" the money earned from the small shop opened together into the project, so he became Zhao Qingzao's first partner, and now the two have become the best partners to trust each other.

With investors and cousin's patented technology of "water-retaining agent", growing crops like ordinary low-income crops can still not change the economic level of the villagers. Obviously, this is the most important question for Zhao Qing morning's team (after the team changed its name to Caiyun Materia Medica).

At an occasional family gathering, Zhao Qingzao seems to have found a way to start a business. At the party, someone mentioned the story of digging Chinese herbal medicine in the mountain ditch to sell money. Zhao Qing had an inspiration after hearing this: perhaps planting Chinese herbal medicines is a "panacea" to change the status quo of farmers' lives! When he told Yang Yongkun the idea, the two immediately went to university agricultural experts to analyze the feasibility of planting conditions. They were so excited that they stayed up all night when they learned that the area under the village's jurisdiction was the growth latitude that was more suitable for the growth of Chinese herbal medicine. In December 2015, their entrepreneurial team, with the support of all parties, registered and established Kunming Xiangtu Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., and the "Caiyun Materia Medica Entrepreneurship Project" was officially launched. a modern Internet agriculture + project based on the application of water-retaining agent has begun.

Efforts:

Five villagers agree to trial planting Bletilla striata

In the following months, through a large number of planting experiments of traditional Chinese medicine, they came to the conclusion that the use of water-retaining agent technology can not only alleviate the water requirements of large-scale planting of local Chinese herbal medicine, but also improve the yield and quality of Chinese herbal medicine. After a series of processes such as applying for a patent, the Caiyun Materia Medica project team got the core technology and use right of GN- 700 soil water retaining agent, and after investigation with relevant planting technical experts, designated the village group of rubbing fish in the ironworks village committee of Yulu Township, Huize County, where the soil is relatively loose, the climate is dry, the water loss is serious, and the wasteland can be cultivated, which is the site for the first rural planting cooperative.

"they have been growing potato and corn for generations. Can Chinese herbal medicine grow here?" After visiting a number of local farmers and being shut out of the door, five villagers nodded. Finally, they each hold 50 mu of land to participate in the cultivation of Chinese herbal medicine.

With land, the entrepreneurial team and farmers in Wumeng Mountain area established the first agricultural cooperative-Huize Mountain Green planting Professional Cooperative. The cooperative belongs to the team self-supporting base, according to the local climate of Huize, under the analysis of the technical staff of the agricultural science station, instructs the local farmers to plant the traditional Chinese medicine Bletilla striata. Through the application of water-retaining agents, problems such as soil and lack of water resources have been effectively improved. The output of Bletilla striata planted by cooperatives has increased by 50% than expected. When the medicinal materials were purchased by pharmaceutical companies at many times the price of "potatoes and corn", the villagers laughed, and Zhao Qingzao and other partners of the entrepreneurial team also laughed.

Results:

Chinese herbal medicine has doubled the villagers' income.

In order to help farmers grow traditional Chinese medicine, they provide free seedlings and technology to the villagers. Even if they encounter cash flow difficulties, the friends of the entrepreneurial team still run around every day, looking for partners and financing. After touching countless walls, when the person in charge of Kunming Zhongyou Fengyu Technology Co., Ltd. learned about the entrepreneurial project of Caiyun Materia Medica team. Moved by these college students' persistence and refusal to admit defeat, they immediately indicated that they would cooperate with Meixiangtu Technology Co., Ltd. to provide financial assistance.

Up to now, Caiyun Materia Medica team has led five rural families, including 16 people, to successfully set up a professional cooperative for green planting in Huize Mountain, attracting young adults from three families to return home to start a business. Zhao Qingzao revealed that Bletilla striata is a crop that grows periodically. At present, the profits of cooperatives are mainly dandelion cultivation, and the income dividend of traditional Chinese medicine has increased the average annual income of five farmers several times. when they learned that they could grow Chinese herbal medicine on their land and sold it at a good price, many villagers who went out to work took the initiative to find Zhao Qingzao and expressed their willingness to set up a new cooperative by buying shares in the land. At present, the preparation and establishment of the new cooperative has been included in the company's development plan for the second half of the year.

Under the condition of promoting the successful operation of Huize Mountain Green planting Professional Cooperative and the relatively mature planting technology of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhao Qingzao decided to let team members have an in-depth understanding of the rural land use situation and set up a "government + farmers + company" development strategy. From May 20 to 22, 2016, seven members of the Caiyun Materia Medica Entrepreneurship team expanded the research area and visited the ironworks Village Committee of Yulu Township, Wumeng District, Huize County, Qujing, Yunnan Province, in order to find out the factors restricting the further development of the Chinese herbal medicine village and lay the foundation for the establishment of the company's second cooperative.
