Wang Yanxia is feeding the chickens

Tian Gang Mengliang, Wuhai City Hainan District Bayin Taohai Town Dongxing Village Wang Yanxia, Lan Yongguang husband and wife began to busy up, mixing materials, feeding chickens, cleaning chicken coops. Wang Yanxia and Lan Yongguang are large chicken farmers in the village, raising more than 10,000 laying hens in total. The selenium-enriched eggs produced are not only sold well in Wuhai City, but also exported to Hohhot, Beijing and other places.

In 1997, at an agricultural exhibition held in Beijing, Wang Yanxia and her husband were attracted by an exhibition of farmers raising chickens to become rich, and inspired by this, they came up with the idea of running a chicken farm. After returning home, Wang Yanxia and her husband borrowed several thousand yuan, bought back 500 chicken seedlings, and set up a chicken farm. However, Wang Yanxia, who had no experience in raising chickens, did not expect the difficulties at the beginning of her business. How to prepare feed? How to prevent and cure epidemic diseases... one thorny problem after another. Faced with difficult problems, Wang Yanxia bought a large number of books on chicken raising technology for self-study. After a period of exploration, she solved all the problems one by one, and the operation of the chicken farm gradually got on the right track. In the following two years, Wang Yanxia further expanded the breeding scale. Although the breeding scale has gone up, the quality of eggs is average, so it is difficult to sell them at a good price. A chance opportunity, the couple heard that selenium-rich eggs are very marketable and the breeding method is green and pollution-free, so the couple decided to concentrate on breeding selenium-rich laying hens. "When selenium-enriched eggs were first on the market, citizens still had doubts about this kind of eggshell green eggs, and few people bought them." Wang Yanxia said. For this reason, the couple adopted the means of small profits but quick turnover to promote selenium-rich eggs. Gradually, high-quality selenium-enriched eggs won the favor of citizens. In 2006, Wang Yanxia registered the selenium-rich egg trademark of "Bayinbao". In 2012,"Bayinbao" became a famous trademark in Inner Mongolia.

When she became rich, Wang Yanxia led the villagers to raise chickens together and provided help to the villagers from many aspects such as capital, equipment, technology, management and sales. Driven by Wang Yanxia, there are 14 large-scale farmers in their village group alone, and Wang Yanxia has also established professional cooperatives with them. At present, the breeding scale of the cooperative has reached more than 80,000, with a daily egg production of 5000 jin and an annual sales volume of more than 5 million yuan. Wang Yanxia has also become a well-known rich leader. Next, Wang Yanxia plans to use her spare land to develop rural tourism and sightseeing agriculture. "The 'Ten Full Coverage' project gives the village an opportunity to develop rural tourism. The village is beautiful and the roads are open. Many citizens are willing to come to the countryside. Every holiday, many citizens drive to buy eggs." Wang Yanxia said.
