On July 7, Ma Guocang, a fruit grower in the second company of horticulture, the fifth division of the production and Construction Corps, was pruning the branches and leaves of the grapes and dredging the ears so that they could be ventilated and evenly colored.

In order to improve the quality of grape fruits, be able to mature uniformly and achieve high-quality commercial fruits, the farmers of the regiment are strengthening the management technology of grape coloring period and preparing for grape listing in advance for beating old leaves, dredging fruit ears, preventing diseases and insect pests, and so on.

It is understood that the regiment has developed a total of 16000 mu of grape industry, and the main varieties are Xiahei fresh grape, Frei seedless grape and Hongti grape. Hanging fruit area of 16000 mu, annual production of high-quality grapes more than 22000 tons, the promotion and planting of summer black grapes more than 10, 000 mu, the regiment farm has formed a more mature production and management mode. At present, the group of grapes are growing well and a bumper harvest is in sight. The grapes will be available for sale at the end of this month.
