On July 13, the reporter walked into the grape sightseeing garden of Yifengyuan Farm in Wuli Town, Pingqiao District, and saw that the grapevines were covered with fruit, and the fruit growers shuttled between them, skillfully cutting out clusters of crystal purple grapes to taste the joy of a bumper harvest.

"the grapes are growing well this year!" Yang Guoyan, the owner of the park, was overjoyed. The relationship between Yang Guoyan and grapes can be traced back to 2010. At that time, while working hard outside, he decided to return to his hometown for development, transfer land, inspect the market, and hire experts, with a total investment of nearly 60 million yuan to build a thousand mu of modern agricultural sightseeing park with ecological agriculture as the carrier. 560mu of grape picking is the first batch of "word-of-mouth" products. Over the past six years, Yang Guoyan has done this "sweet career" brilliantly.

"We have introduced 16 high-quality grape varieties at home and abroad, such as Sunshine Rose, Summer Black Seedless, and Ruby, and innovated and improved the single cross bird rack and light belt according to the high temperature and humidity in Xinyang in summer. the grapes have many tastes, good taste and high sweetness. last year, the fruit hanging rate reached 98%, and the income per mu reached more than 10,000 yuan." Yang Guoyan said. As the largest and most comprehensive vineyard in Pingqiao District, the first grape picking festival held last year was warmly welcomed by consumers. this year, the second grape picking festival will also open on July 28, and many tourists are eager to try.

A bunch of grapes not only enriched Yang Guoyan, but also led more than 110 local villagers to work in the vineyard, raising everyone's dream of increasing income and becoming rich. "Yifeng Garden has transferred our two mu of land at the price of 450 jin of rice per mu per mu per year. My wife and I also work in the vineyard. During the peak season, we earn 100 yuan a day. Small grapes have now become our 'treasure pot'!" A villager who was picking grapes told the reporter happily.
