Pan Ping: starting your own Business and chasing Dreams

On July 14, Pan Pingxi, general manager of Shiwang Ecological Agriculture specialized Cooperative in Guangshan County, watched the scene of a bumper grape harvest.

Starting her own business is her constant pursuit. After years of efforts, she helped her father turn the unknown agricultural cooperatives into an advanced collective of cooperatives in Henan Province. She is Pan Ping, general manager of Shiwang Agricultural Cooperative in Guangshan County.

In 2007, after graduating from university, Pan Ping returned to his hometown to help her father run the business and served as the general manager of the company. After several years of hard work, the company has not only been rated as the "key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Xinyang City", but also led the local farmers to become rich, with an average annual income of 4500 yuan per household, and solved the employment of more than 1000 local farmers.

In 2015, in order to bring "Internet + Modern Agriculture" into the development of the ecological park, Pan Ping took the lead in designing and registering the "Henan Ecological Agriculture Portal" commercial APP, and became the first commercial APP in the field of ecological agriculture in our province. The APP aims to create a platform for ecological agriculture industry in the province, change the traditional mode of agricultural industry chain, value chain and supply chain, and solve the problem that traditional agricultural products are difficult to buy and sell. It can be said that the application of the concept of "Internet +" to the field of agriculture is Pan Ping's first step in promoting the development of agricultural modernization and industrialization in Guangshan County. Due to the low added value and low profits of traditional agriculture, most of the agricultural enterprises in Guangshan County follow the old way of traditional agriculture, the market information lags behind and the marketing means lag behind. In view of this reality, Pan Ping timely adopted the ecological park model to carry out the layout and production of sightseeing agriculture, integrating agricultural activities, natural scenery, leisure and entertainment, and environmental protection, so as to realize the unity of ecological, economic and social benefits. Today, the company grows grapes, mulberries and other fruits in the ecological garden, and takes the sightseeing agriculture model of leisure picking, which increases the added value of the traditional planting industry, and deeply processes the fruit, brews fruit wine, and expands the agricultural industry chain. The industrial chain of "planting-picking-deep processing" of fruit provides a beneficial attempt for the agricultural industrialization management in Guangshan County and promotes the upgrading of agricultural industrialization.

Starting a business does not forget the neighbors, in constantly creating economic benefits, Pan Ping turned her attention to the society. In the winter of 2015, Pan Ping heard that the father of Fu Huasong, a teenager from Sai Yi Village, Baiqueyuan Town, Guangshan County, suffered from a variety of diseases and lost his ability to take care of himself, while his mother suffered from mental illness and had a young brother. All kinds of misfortune have plunged the family into poverty with no source of income. However, instead of pessimism and despair, Fu Huasong, who is only 13 years old, carried the burden of the family with his immature shoulders. After learning about Fu Huasong's touching deeds and his difficulties, Pan Ping and the staff sent cotton-padded clothes, rice, noodles, oil, books and other condolences to Fu Huasong's home and gave Fu Huasong a bank card, promising to deposit 500 yuan into the card as his living expenses every month until he graduated from college. This kind-hearted act was spread as a tale in society and was praised by the relevant leaders at higher levels.

At present, the "Grape and Mulberry Wine Brewing" project of Guangshan Shiwang Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. has been approved by Shanghai Equity Trading Center and supported by the people's Government of Guangshan County. The company officially listed on the Q board, which not only created the brand image of modern agriculture in Guangshan County, but also filled the gap in the listing of the Q board of female entrepreneurs in Guangshan County. Its successful listing financing shows that the company has responded well in exploring the modern agricultural capital market, and it also shows that there is a bright future for the upgrading of agricultural industrialization in Guangshan County.

Pan Ping was very calm in the face of her achievements. She told reporters that she had nothing to do with her life but would like to read all over the world. I have nothing to do for the rest of my life. I would like to learn for the benefit of society. Perhaps, this is the wish of the new generation of college students to start their own business.
