Wu Shiwei's pig farm was established in 2007 and is called Shi Mingyuan Pig Farm. After 25 years of dealing with pigs, Wu Shiwei won the honorary titles such as "Advanced individual of Entrepreneurship in 2009", "Advanced individual of 2013" and "Leader of Science and Technology in Chongzuo City in 2011".

When Wu Shiwei was a child, his family was relatively poor, and his parents scrimped and frugally allowed their five brothers and sisters to complete their studies. "when I was in high school, when I saw that the veterinarians in the village had an income from visiting a house every day, I secretly made up my mind to go to a veterinary school and set up a pig farm after graduation to generate income to lighten the burden on my family." Wu Shiwei told reporters.

Wu Shiwei was finally admitted to Liuzhou Animal Husbandry and Veterinary School. After graduating in 1991, he went to work at the county veterinary station. From the point of view of outsiders, it is good to have a stable job, but Wu Shiwei does not think so. He is still quietly making preparations for achieving his goals. During his work, he worked hard to study the scientific methods of raising pigs and accumulated rich knowledge of raising pigs. In 1997, Wu Shiwei opened a veterinary medicine feed store with the support of his lover, which was supported and recognized by the broad masses because of its high quality, low price and good service attitude. While doing a good job in the work of the unit, Wu Shiwei also found time to go to various villages to treat and treat livestock for the masses, and solved their worries and difficulties in breeding, which was highly praised by the broad masses. Since 1998, Wu Shiwei's career has become more and more prosperous, and more and more people have supported him and received his help. "with the strong support of the masses, I realized that in order to make more people rich, we must have leaders to become rich, lead the masses to develop the breeding industry, and find a unique way to get rich." Wu Shiwei said.

With this determination, he has been working hard for the dream of round leading the masses to become rich. In 2000, Wu Shiwei made a major decision. He resolutely quit his job at the county veterinary station and bid farewell to the county veterinary station where he had worked for 9 years. "some people said that I was stupid to quit a good job, and some relatives objected at that time. In 2007, with the support of the County Aquatic Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau, Wu Shiwei invested 2 million yuan to establish Shimingyuan Pig Farm, which has achieved good benefits for several consecutive years because of mastering the operation and management of the pig farm. After learning that there was still a lot of room for the pig market in the whole county, Wu Shiwei decided to expand his business scope. Taking Shimingyuan Pig Farm as the base, Wu Shiwei took the lead in setting up a professional cooperative for raising pigs in Shimingyuan County in June 2009, with an operating area of more than 300m2. Mainly engaged in feed, feed additives, veterinary drugs and breeding raw materials (corn, wheat bran, soybean meal, rice bran, etc.), annual sales of feed and raw materials more than 10000 tons The sales revenue is more than 30 million yuan. The cooperative and the county's Aquatic Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau jointly adopt the method of "passing, helping, carrying and sending". By providing services such as breeding pigs, pig sperm, piglets, feed, veterinary medicine and technology, the cooperative has led to the enthusiasm of its members to raise pigs. There are more than 4000 members, distributed in 13 townships in Tiandeng County and Longguang, Tuhu and other villages in Debao County. And seven small-scale pig farms were built in cooperation with seven people, including Ban Xiangjiang of Xiangdu Town, Ling Wei of Tuokan Township, Liang Enying and so on. The cooperative has a total of more than 10000 piglets and pigs every year, with a sales income of more than 10 million yuan.

The cooperative was appraised as "key leading enterprise of aquaculture and animal husbandry industry in Guangxi" in 2010, and the breeding base of the cooperative was also rated as "planting and breeding science and technology demonstration base" by Chongzuo Science and Technology Bureau.

Wu Shiwei's wish is to lead more people to raise pigs to become rich. The establishment of the cooperative has built a better platform for Wu Shiwei to better lead the masses to get rich. Ban Xiangjiang in Dingming Village, Xiangdu Town, took the initiative to contact Wu Shiwei to build a small pig farm, but faced with the problem of insufficient funds, coupled with the lack of follow-up pig breeds, pig fry, and feed. After on-the-spot investigation, Wu Shiwei instructed him to build the farm. 20 sows and 50 young meat pigs were selected from his own pig farm for feeding and feed. After four months of raising, 50 meat pigs came out and made a profit of more than 30,000 yuan. He continued to raise 50 young pigs, and in the second year, 20 sows gave birth one after another. Through self-breeding and seizing the market situation, his pig farm has now developed to be able to breed 70 sows, keep more than 200 pigs, and get rich by raising pigs. Ban Xiangjiang bought a house and a car in the county, bought a shop to expand his business, and started an aluminum alloy processing business. There are many examples of Wu Shiwei leading the masses to get rich, such as Nong Shaozhen and Ling Enying in Tongtun, Tuokan Township, and Wu Fenghai in Gumitun, Hongling Village, all of which have taken off the hat of poverty and bought private cars by providing pig fry, feed, and settlement first. Led by Wu Shiwei, the surrounding people set off an upsurge of raising pigs to become rich, and Wu Shiwei became a "pig star" in the eyes of the masses around him.
