He is not only a university student, but also a university student village official. After graduating in 2008, he joined the second batch of college student village officials in Jiangsu Province and came to Lunan Village, Yizheng City, Yangzhou to work as a village branch assistant. Over the past five years, he has led the villagers to set up edible mushroom production plants, carried out vegetable greenhouse cultivation, developed efficient agriculture, and led farmers to live a well-off life.

His name is Zheng Fuyuan. Talking about the experience and experience of college students in starting a business, he said: "starting a business does not need bold words, but only needs to be down-to-earth and resourceful to find a way that suits him."

"I come from the countryside, and I want to go back to the countryside."

In 2008, Zheng Fuyuan graduated from Nanjing Audit Institute with honors. He could have stayed in Nanjing to find a good job. Why did he resolutely choose to join the team of college student village officials in Jiangsu? What kind of motivation made him choose to start a business in the countryside?

"I come from the countryside and want to go back to the countryside." Zheng Fuyuan introduced himself that in 1985, he was born into a poor peasant family in Yizheng, Yangzhou. After graduating from university, he chose to apply for the college student village official.

When he first arrived in Lunan Village, Dayi Town, Yizheng City, Zheng Fuyuan found that although the living conditions in the village were OK, the villagers either went out to work as masons or worked as workers in a plush toy factory, doing manual work. Since it is rooted in the countryside, it is necessary to make full use of the advantages of the countryside. As a result, Zheng Fuyuan sprouted the idea of developing efficient agriculture based on rural areas. He wanted to lead the villagers to a rich road with the combination of production, technology and market.

"starting a business requires passion as well as reason." After traveling all over Yizheng City, Zheng Fuyuan found that it is very rare to grow edible fungi here, and most of the edible mushroom markets rely on non-local transportation, while the investment in edible mushroom production is very small, and it can be done with hundreds of thousands of yuan.

At the end of 2008, Zheng Fuyuan rented 20 mu of land in Lunan Village, led more than 40 villagers, established Yangzhou Jiakang Mushroom Industry Development Co., Ltd., and began the factory production of Flammulina velutipes.

Today, the company has been operating for five years, not only the training room, growth room, packaging room and other facilities, to achieve a mechanized, assembly line production, but also set up a special edible fungus distribution center, with fixed sales channels. At present, the company produces 8 tons of Flammulina velutipes per day, which is sold out every day, with an annual output value of 3 million yuan.

"if you want to start a successful business, you can't be afraid first."

When I came to Lunan Village, there were a series of greenhouses in the field, where chili peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers were fresh and tender. The villagers were busy in the fields. When they saw Zheng Fuyuan, they greeted him in a loud voice from afar.

"in the village, I was the first one to grow vegetables in a greenhouse." Talking about greenhouse vegetable cultivation, Zheng Fuyuan talked endlessly, "at the end of 2009, I transferred another 20 mu of land to the village and built 18 greenhouses, each of which planted different seasonal vegetables. The scale is not large, general vegetables can be listed in advance and sell at a good price. " Zheng Fuyuan's greenhouse vegetables have several characteristics: first, they do not change hands and do not take out food to ensure fair prices; second, they do not play out-of-season brands and respect the healthy eating habits of ordinary people; and third, vegetables are planted in turn in different seasons to ensure timely supply.

In order to help villagers master more vegetable planting skills, Zheng Fuyuan often invited experts from the Yizheng Municipal Committee of Agriculture to give guidance, bought books from bookstores, downloaded videos online for villagers to learn, and often held experience exchange meetings in the greenhouse. Led by him, growers such as Lao Wang watched agricultural economic programs every day and learned to grow vegetables with plastic film.

"most people are conservative. I think that if you want to start a successful business, you should not be afraid first." Zheng Fuyuan said, "A lot of things are difficult to think about, but it's not difficult to really do them."

"the value of one's life has been realized."

After five years of starting a business, I have an aftertaste of all kinds of ups and downs. Zheng Fuyuan says that there are many reasons for starting a business, but it is not difficult to do so. Only through personal experience can we really grow.

For Zheng Fuyuan, who grew up in difficulties, seizing every challenge and turning it into his own capital is his way. Therefore, in the process of starting a business, no matter how difficult it is, he can go on. When building a vegetable greenhouse, in order to save money, he bent the steel pipe himself, and at the end of the day, his hands were covered with blood blisters.

Of course, in addition to all kinds of sorrows, there is no lack of joy on the road to starting a business. Zheng Fuyuan has a small ledger that records the daily business income of vegetables in the greenhouse. "at first, I was very happy to write down a hundred yuan a day. Anyway, I had an income after all. Later, when I began to remember thousands of figures, I added up my monthly income, and I couldn't help but marvel at how much income I could get from growing vegetables! " Zheng Fuyuan is happy. However, his happiness does not stop there. Zheng Fuyuan said that now ordinary people have seen the prospect of efficient agriculture, and many people have begun to explore planting. "I am a person who grew up eating a hundred families. I can bring some benefits to everyone with my own strength." my life value has been realized. "

Over the past five years, Zheng Fuyuan has grown from a college student to an entrepreneurial talent who has taken root in rural areas and led the villagers to become rich. For the future, he said, he is currently considering how to process mushroom residue into fuel, maximize the benefits of growing vegetables in greenhouses, and set up cooperatives to drive more villagers to start a business.
