The "post-80s" college students return to their hometown to raise porcupine to get rich together.
Black and white, covered with spikes, like a "big hedgehog", heard a noise, the thorns all over the body immediately stood up …... This is the cute porcupine in the wild. Yesterday, the reporter saw the porcupine farm in Yangqing Village, Yangqing Town, Suixi County, that the spacious farm was divided into small "suites", each of which lived with three porcupines. If you come closer, you will hear the sound of "rustling" and "clicking".
The owner of the farm is Song Jingbiao, born in 1987 in Yangqing Village, Yangqing Town, Suixi County. After graduating from university, he chose to return to his hometown to start a business. He told reporters that the "rustling" sound is the sound of the porcupine eating, and the "click" sound is the sound of the swinging tail of the porcupine.
"despite the fact that the porcupine is ugly, it is covered with treasures. Meat, brain, fatty oil, heart, liver, gallbladder, stomach and arrow thorns can be used in medicine. It has the functions of reducing blood pressure and relieving pain, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, dispelling wind and dredging collaterals, and has the reputation of 'animal ginseng'." Song Jingbiao said that when he used to work in other places, he saw that other people made a lot of money in porcupine farming, so he immediately went home to learn breeding techniques, and then went back to his hometown to invest more than 100,000 yuan to build a farm to engage in breeding. This is his second year of raising porcupines, from more than 30 at the beginning to more than 60 now, gradually exploring and mastering the breeding methods of porcupine. "there are not many problems with porcupines, but they are a little afraid of the heat in summer." Song Jingbiao said that in order to cool them through the heat, he often put several fans in the fence to cool them down.
After talking about the life habits of porcupine, he talked about "business classics". "the cost of raising porcupines is not high. Generally, they can be fenced in 10 months, each weighing about 26 jin. The cost of raising porcupines is about 350 yuan, while the market price of porcupines is 60 yuan per jin, and the net income of each pig is more than 1000 yuan." Song Jingbiao said that the porcupine feeding cost is low, the labor is few, the economic benefit is quite high.
Although he is still in the exploratory stage, Song Jingbiao is very optimistic about the prospect of raising porcupine. When the first batch of pigs came out of the pen, he earned more than 30,000 yuan. At present, he plans to set up a cooperative in the village to provide free technology to the villagers, provide seedlings at low prices, recycle finished pigs, and pave the way for everyone to get rich.
