Since the beginning of summer, with the large number of local fruits on the market, fruit prices have gone down. The price of "honey peaches" planted by Lin Jianfa, head of the Haixue long-haired Rabbit breeding Cooperative in Dinghai District, which is located in Mazu Street, is twice as expensive as that on the market, but demand is still in short supply. why on earth is this?.

Recently, the reporter came to this professional cooperative. Lin Jianfa and his wife are busy arranging and loading the newly picked "honey peaches." these "honey peaches" are neat, red in yellow, full and attractive. Lin Jianfa told reporters that these peaches were ordered by customers, and now it is so hot that it is too late to pick.

"the peaches on the market are sold for 5 yuan per jin. Why do you want to sell them for 10 yuan per jin?" The reporter asked, Lin Jianfa smiled but said nothing, pulling the reporter to his long-haired rabbit shed. When he arrived at the breeding shed, he pushed out the car, picked up a spade and loaded the rabbit dung swept by the workers into the car. "this is my magic weapon," he told reporters as he waved his spade. "Don't underestimate the droppings and pour them into the ground and become treasures."

According to Lin Jianfa, these rabbit dung can only be used after more than 20 days of fermentation. Rabbit dung is a kind of high-efficiency and high-quality organic fertilizer. The content of nitrogen, phosphorus and other elements is higher than that of other livestock manure, and it is easy to be absorbed and used by plants. An adult rabbit can accumulate about 100kg of fertilizer a year, and the manure of 10 adult rabbits is equivalent to that of a pig, while his farm has more than 2000 long-haired rabbits. "in the past, these dung were sold to other places, and there were fixed customers coming to collect them, mainly growers in Shaoxing and Xinchang." Lin Jianfa said that once when he went to the homes of fruit growers from other places, he found that these growers were growing on a large scale, and the fruit they planted was particularly good, so he came up with the idea of using rabbit dung as fertilizer to grow fruit.

In 2014, Lin Jianfa contracted more than 30 mu of land next to the long-haired rabbit farm and began to grow peaches, loquats, pears and other fruits. After the first batch of "honey peaches" matured this year, he invited the villagers to taste them, and the villagers were full of praise for his peaches. The praise from the villagers has given Lin Jianfa confidence. Sales of "honey peaches" this year are also in short supply. He plans to increase the planting variety and expand the planting area. "in recent years, Ma Fu is building a fruit picking base, and there are many fruit picking gardens around us. I hope to use rabbit dung as fertilizer to grow fruit to play my own special card." Looking forward to a bright future, Lin Jianfa was beaming.
