In October 2008, Feng Lifeng graduated from the Chinese Department of Linfen College of Shanxi normal University and was admitted as a college student village official in Dongtaiji Village, Mingjiang Town, Hongdong County, Shanxi Province.

After entering the post, he began to investigate and study the project. After going door to door, he decided to raise beef cattle.

With the strong support of the town government, not only 3.5 mu of land was coordinated to build a cowshed, but rural credit cooperatives also lent 90,000 yuan, and he and two university student village officials cooperated with another 70,000 yuan, thus the project staggered.

In October 2009, the barn was built, and he bought 11 Simendals and 12 Charolais from Shandong and the province one after another. In March 2010, beef cattle officially entered fattening.

I thought everything was on track. But in less than half a year, beef cattle are not only infected with rotten hoof disease, can not afford to lie on the ground, but also have malnutrition and slow weight growth. While reading breeding books, Feng Lifeng consulted local aquaculture enterprises, and he became a student again.

Hoof rot is caused by damp barn and imbalance of calcium and phosphorus in forage. Immediately, he carried out ventilation and lighting treatment on the cowshed, and regularly dealt with cow dung.

There was a lot of harvest in those days, and I found out some ways to cultivate the soil. Over the course of a year, Feng Lifeng experimented with the feeding technique of 2-3 jin daily gain.

In 2011, 16 beef cattle were sold, and Feng Lifeng sold them all at a price that was 0.70 yuan higher than the market price, and one beef cow made a profit of 2000 yuan.

Fattening was effective that year, and Feng Lifeng's small-scale and meticulous management thinking was right. The villagers cast a trusting look at him, and many people came to learn from him. "it takes 30 cows to earn 40 cows." For investment farmers, he suggested, "the cost of investment determines the scale, and fine work is suitable for every household."

In 2011, in order to demonstrate and drive more farmers to get rich, he established the Hengkun cattle raising Professional Cooperative, which absorbed 58 members, with an average annual income of 26000 yuan.

"in the first year, although the unit price of beef cattle was higher than the average market price, it was still at a loss on the whole, and the money sold was not enough to buy cattle, which directly led to a shortage of funds for the purchase of shelf cattle and feed in the coming year."

Like other entrepreneurs, they have experience and confidence, but the lack of funds has become a problem for Feng Lifeng.

In order to ensure the normal fattening of beef cattle, he began to give credit to beef cattle and feed suppliers. Although it is a helpless move, it allows limited funds to be spent on the cutting edge.

Feed from less to more, time from a month to half a year and then to a year settlement, Feng Lifeng established a reputation on credit, and the reputation also enabled him to invigorate the funds, so that the limited funds produced the maximum effectiveness.

Subsequently, the number of beef cattle in the cooperative has grown from 30 to nearly 100, with an output value of more than 1 million yuan and an average annual profit of more than 300,000 yuan.

From 0 to 1, Dongtaiji Village has a stable aquaculture industry, and Feng Lifeng has also found a fulcrum in starting a business.

"with a product, how can it be sold more effectively?" In 2014, he founded Bombyx mori Culture Communication Co., Ltd., developing agricultural products with regional characteristics and creating local brands. Its Jinbei Agricultural Development Company adopts the order agriculture model and operates fresh vegetables, meat, eggs and other agricultural products. Pillow Fu Pillow Industry Company combines the concept of health care and local pillow culture to create cultural health pillows.

In 2015, the company generated 1.1 million yuan in income. It not only signed supply and demand contracts with neighboring farmers and cooperatives, but also led a number of farmers to employment.
