Li Sanfa is 64 years old. There are five people in his family. He is a poor family in the village. Before he came to work in the cooperative, he worked as a builder in the county seat or farther away, and it was common for him to go down and climb high. "the age of going out to work is unforgiving, the income from farming at home is limited, working in a cooperative is not bad, the work is not heavy, and it is still close to home." Yufan vegetable planting professional cooperative was established in 2012, and now it has transferred more than 1200 mu of land in four villages of Shangdian Town, and built more than 700mu of plastic greenhouse and 500mu of solar greenhouse. Planting varieties include chili peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, grapes, shiitake mushrooms, etc., to provide hourly workers and piece workers and other different forms of labor for the surrounding villagers.

Han Xiaolong, head of the cooperative, said that the previous model was that the cooperative operated by itself and found people to work, but the benefit was not good. Last year, cooperatives began to explore the approach of "professional cooperatives + farmers" to encourage villagers to contract fruit and vegetable greenhouses and provide farmers with fruit and vegetable greenhouses, seeds, and technical guidance free of charge. Farmers only need to put in labor and be responsible for daily farm work and picking, and then be sold uniformly by cooperatives and pay dividends according to the output and quality of products provided by farmers. "as long as the management is in place and the output is guaranteed, the annual income of 20,000 yuan will not be a problem." Han Xiaolong said. In this way, cooperatives provide an opportunity for villagers, especially poor households, to "start their own businesses" on their own, and the improvement of people's enthusiasm for production has also increased the efficiency of cooperatives. In addition, cooperatives also encourage villagers with a sound economic foundation to expand the contracted area and absorb more poor households to participate in planting so as to jointly increase their income.

So far, more than 10 poor households in the town have contracted greenhouses in the cooperative, and more than 30 poor households have indicated that they are willing to contract greenhouses to grow fruits and vegetables this year.
