"getting rich from poverty" needs the spirit of poverty alleviation.

Since the launch of precision poverty alleviation work, many cadres have found that poor households can be roughly divided into three types in the process of poverty alleviation. One is to have the desire to get rid of poverty and become rich, but suffer from "the external environment is not strong", lack of technology, lack of conditions, can not get rich; one is not lack of ability, but blindly wait for dry, lazy, all day long live a tight day of poverty; there is also a disease, due to disaster poverty, the idea of getting rid of poverty has long been broken. For the first kind of poor households, as long as they help them obtain technology and conditions, give them a hand to become rich, add a fire, rely on their heart to become rich and their determination not to bow in the face of difficulties, they will eventually be able to "weak birds fly first" and "get rich from poverty." However, for the latter two kinds of poverty, it is not easy to get rid of poverty and become rich only by relying on material help. What they need more is spiritual poverty alleviation.

Spiritual poverty usually manifests itself in resignation, contentment with the status quo, and a preference for leisure and abhorrence of labor. Compared with material poverty, spiritual poverty lacks neither labor nor technical ability, but ideological laziness and spiritual weakness. This poverty is far more terrible than material poverty and harder to eradicate. In the past, in the process of poverty alleviation, we only paid attention to material poverty alleviation and simply gave money and things. It was too one-way. This practice "helped for a while, but could not help for a lifetime". Once the preferential policy was "weaned", it was very likely to return to poverty again. Therefore, in the process of precise poverty alleviation, we should not only pay attention to "supporting the horse" materially, but also "sending a journey" spiritually, and do our best to help the poor in the last kilometer, so as not to let any poor household fall behind.

No one does not want to live a good life. The difficulty is how to let these poor households establish their confidence and courage to live a good life, how to pull them up and help them when they are in difficulty. These, in addition to material giving, must be encouraged and guided more spiritually. If you want to pull out the cancer of spiritual poverty and get rid of the worms in your mind, you need internal and external pressure and two-way force. Internally, poor households need to get rid of their inert thinking and set up their ambition to get rid of poverty. Internal factors are the fundamental factors that determine the development and change of things. Poor people are the main body of getting rid of poverty and becoming rich. Whether they have firm willingness to get rid of poverty is the key to getting rid of poverty and becoming rich. If there is no willingness or insufficient will and will, the motivation to get rid of poverty and become rich will be insufficient. Even if the outside world invests more, it can only guarantee one hour of poverty alleviation, but it cannot manage long-term development. Only when the thinking of poor households has changed and their ideas have been updated will there be natural ways and energy to become rich. Only when they get rid of poverty and become rich can there be hope and the goal of poverty alleviation can be truly realized. In addition, we need to help package cadres strengthen guidance. "As long as the spirit does not slide, there are always more ways than difficulties." Because most of the "spiritual poor households" themselves are difficult to consciously set up the ambition to get rid of poverty, and want to rely solely on the poor households themselves to overcome the past inertia thinking "difficult to ascend to heaven", therefore, in the process of poverty alleviation, we must "exert force" from the outside, give full play to the close contact role of the cadres, work hard and actively guide. In the face of these "mentally poor households," the cadres who help them must not have the psychology of fearing difficulties and letting them fend for themselves, let alone asking questions. Instead, they must go deep into the hearts of poor households to "find out what is going on". Through regular "family talks" and "complaints," they should use a "microscope" to take a look at the tiny psychological "germs" of poor households. Through constant "reasoning" and "understanding", they should use "pesticides" to kill psychological "germs" and slowly solve their ideological knots step by step. Break through psychological defense lines, help poor households establish confidence and fighting spirit to get rid of poverty, lead poor households to find the right way to get rid of poverty and become rich, and help them get out of the shadow of poverty as soon as possible and live a happy life.
