Many people in this village have eaten watermelons grown by old melon craftsmen in the past, but they still remember the taste of the melons, so they repeatedly mobilized the old melon craftsmen to "return to their old jobs" and promised to provide him with labor unconditionally in the process of growing watermelons. The old melon craftsman readily agreed, but at first he did not dare to "take a big step." Last year, he first planted one mu of watermelons to "test the water." unexpectedly, after the watermelons were ripe, they were picked by the people of this village. this year, he had the courage to plant 6 mu, and now he has begun to mature and appear on the market. the selling price of watermelons is 0.6 yuan per jin, 20 cents higher than other watermelons, and demand is still in short supply.
"A flower in a crop is so fat to be in charge of the house. My secret to growing watermelons is to fertilize them well. The planting density of watermelons is no more than 400 trees per mu. In strict accordance with the traditional method, only one melon is kept, which is easy to gather nutrients. The watermelons are big and delicious.
