The State Food and Drug Administration launched the Food sampling results query APP-- Food Safety Inspection on Aug. 21, which includes the national and provincial and municipal sampling databases since 2014. from now on, consumers can scan the product bar code on their mobile phones to know whether their food is on the "blacklist of food sampling results."

The State Food and Drug Administration launched the food sampling inspection results query APP-- food safety inspection on August 21, which includes the national and provincial and municipal sampling inspection database since 2014, with 160000 items of food sampling information covering 33 categories of products. Substandard food will be prompted with red marks to provide consumers with reference for purchase.

The regular publication of food sampling results is one of the daily work of the State Food and Drug Administration and the provincial and municipal food and drug administrations, and it is also the food safety information that people pay close attention to. Previously, the food sampling results were mainly announced through the official website of the General Administration of Food and Drug Administration and the provincial and municipal food and drug administrations. Recently, the State Food and Drug Administration has organized and developed the client of Food Safety Supervision and sampling Information query system-Food Safety Inspection APP. Yan Jiangying, director of the Information and publicity Department of the State Food and Drug Administration, said that the data and information of APP in food safety inspection comes from the above sampling database, including the qualified and unqualified results of food safety supervision released by the State and provincial food and drug administrations since 2014, with a total of 160000 pieces of commodity information, covering 33 major categories of products.

For example, enter "yoghurt" to list the sampling results of the products with the word "yogurt", and enter "× (brand)" to list the sampling results of the products of the brand. Second, through the selection of food classification, query the food sampling results, for example: click "Dairy products" to list the sampling results of this kind of products; third, you can query by scanning the commodity bar code. All the above query results will be displayed in order according to the two sections of "products with all qualified sampling results" and "products with unqualified sampling results", and unqualified products will be highlighted in red to help consumers avoid food safety risks. The Food Ancha APP was officially launched yesterday and can be downloaded and installed using Android and Apple phones and tablets.
