A young woman who is only 30 years old has spent millions of yuan on ecological breeding in just three years, and has broken new ground in the ecological breeding industry. In mid-August, a large number of pine needle chickens raised by Luo Huan in Pingxiang began to lay eggs one after another, and some local supermarkets and local specialty stores successively signed procurement contracts with Luo Huan.

Women raise chickens and ducks to create a "happy farm"

Luo Huan, 30, ran a beauty salon after entering the society from school. In 2013, when the development momentum was good, Luo Huan chose to change careers, using the "first bucket of gold" earned by the beauty salon to introduce and buy 10,000 ducks, and the couple chose the location to build their own "happy farm" in Shiban Village, Anyuan Town, Anyuan District.

After two years of raising ducks, Luo Huan saw the prospect of ecological breeding. Luo Huan said that in April this year, she again spent more than 2 million yuan to build a fully automated farm with automatic disinfection, automatic feeding, automatic manure scraping, and automatic water supply, and then introduced 30,000 pine needle chickens (also known as golden powder chickens) from Guangzhou.

Luo Huan's husband is a veteran, and his husband has his own job and usually works at work, but there are a lot of affairs on the farm. Luo Huan, who became a "chicken commander", called his father and other relatives to help. Employment has also been arranged for people from local families with difficulties.

Always optimistic about the prospect of ecological breeding.

Compared with ecological farming, the beauty industry makes money quickly and makes a lot of profits. Luo Huan said that ecological farming is a sustainable development project, and she has always been optimistic about the prospect of ecological breeding, so over the past few years, she first raised ducks, and this year she began to raise chickens and continue to invest in ecological farming.

In the beverage workshop of this ecological farm, the reporter saw that in addition to the installation of automatic grinding machines, there were also a large number of corn, soybean meal, millet and other grains. Luo Huan said that after these grains are milled in proportion, something called "pine needle powder" will be added before it can be made into natural green chicken feed.

According to a person concerned on the farm, the leaves of pine trees are in the shape of needles, so they are called "pine needles." the "pine needle powder" mixed in chicken drinks is the powder made from pine leaves, and the so-called "pine needle chickens" are chickens that grow up with pine needle powder. Pine needles are cool, and long-term consumption of small amounts of poultry can effectively improve immunity and ensure the ecology, greenness and health of eggs laid by poultry.

Good selling point to welcome merchant orders

"now people's living standards have improved, and in terms of eating, people pay more and more attention to green and ecological crops." Luo Huan said that because the cost of ecological breeding is higher, the eggs laid by pine needle chickens are more expensive than ordinary eggs on the market. The market price of ordinary eggs is 7 yuan per jin, while the eggs laid by pine needle chickens cost 8 yuan per jin.

It is understood that the growth period of pine needle chicken is about 140 days, after which eggs can be laid, and the peak period of egg laying is 150 days-240 days. At present, pine needle chickens raised by Luo Huan have been laying eggs one after another. although the price is more expensive than ordinary eggs, because the eggs laid by pine needle chickens taste good and are eco-friendly, they have not yet reached the peak of pine needle chicken laying. Some local supermarkets and local specialty stores have already signed orders with Luo Huan.

Now, the farm founded by Luo Huan raises not only chickens and ducks, but also lobster, fish and other agricultural products in the ponds near the farm.
