The "post-80s" boys work as e-commerce in rural areas.
Recently, Xie Rong, a 28-year-old college student village official from Wali Village, Qinghe County, Hebei Province, is extremely busy. While helping the village's e-commerce people add summer clothes, he is busy negotiating with a "one product, one village" sales platform in Beijing. "if the cooperation is successful, using this sales platform, e-commerce in the village can not only sell cashmere products, but also sell agricultural products online, and the villagers have more ways to get rich." Listening to Xie Rong's words, Lang Taihai, the 50-year-old director of the village committee, nodded and agreed wholeheartedly that this old and small cooperation was quite tacit.
In 2012, Xie Rong, an engineering management major from North China Electric Power University, gave up a high-paying job in a provincial power company and returned to his hometown to become a deputy secretary of the party branch in his hometown Wali village.
"is it easy to support a college student? Looking forward to the stars and the moon, he finally finished school and took part in a job in a big city. After working for less than three days, he had to go back to the countryside to be a village official. " This gap really upset Xie Zhikun, Xie's father, for a long time.
Not only the father does not approve, but also the village cadres and the masses do not understand. "every family of children wants to go back to the countryside to do their careers as soon as they are hot, and they have to go back to the city in a few days." Lang Taihai was not shy about saying what he thought at that time.
"at present, there is an upsurge of mass entrepreneurship and innovation. In recent years, e-commerce in our county is booming. I want to go back to the countryside to start a business and let the countryside catch the express train of the Internet." Xie Rong expressed his original intention at that time.
In the face of doubts around him, Xie Rong wholeheartedly led the villagers to engage in e-commerce. In the first week of his return to the village, he found through a visit that several young people in the village were engaged in e-commerce and their business was all right. Xie Rong pondered: Qinghe County is the largest production base of cashmere products in the country, and the cashmere products market in the county seat has a special supplier of Taobao. Farmers who engage in e-commerce do not have to invest a penny, they can make money directly from the market to get goods. Therefore, he wants to organize and lead more people to engage in e-commerce. When he told Lang Taihai what he thought, the old man shook his head like a rattle, "what is the Internet?" Can our native farmers make money online? " The villagers are also full of doubts.
"words cannot be persuaded, just rely on practical actions. I can open a shop and run it first. If I do a good job and make money, the villagers will naturally follow suit." In the fall of 2012, Xie Rong registered his own online store on Taobao. In the second year, his store earned four or five thousand yuan a month and more than 100,000 yuan a year in 2014. This caused a great sensation in the village, the villagers treated him differently, and some young people took the initiative to look to him to learn to open a shop online.
Led by Xie Rong, Wali Village, which has more than 300 households, has entered the ranks of e-commerce, with more than 70 households earning more than 100000 yuan a year and five or six households earning more than 1 million yuan a year. The average annual income of ordinary people has doubled compared with that of three years ago.
E-commerce has become the main industry in Wali village, and the villagers get rich by doing e-commerce, but Xie Glory is not satisfied. He is soberly aware that if he wants to develop healthily, on the one hand, he should improve product quality and develop differently, and implement the development model of one shop and one product; on the other hand, he should register his own brand, operate in good faith, and take the road of brand; in addition, he should unite the e-commerce in the village to keep warm and enter the market.
The first person to taste the sweetness is Lang Jingbin in the village. under the suggestion of Xie Rong, he revolves around "one store, one product" and takes the way of "tailor-made" for customers, which does not squeeze the goods, but also has its own characteristics, and the profit of each piece of clothing is also 20% higher than before. On the day of Singles Day last year, Lang Jingbin received more than 500 orders.
Recently, Xie Rong is planning to open up online sales channels, not only on Taobao, but also to develop online sales platforms such as VIPSHOP, JD.com and WeChat merchants. This cooperation with a sales platform in Beijing is only the first step.
"if you are not afraid of difficulties, you are afraid that you will not have the determination and courage to overcome them. As long as the people need it, I will always be with them to help them solve their problems and keep going on the road to getting rich." Facing the future, Xie Rong has firm confidence.
