A test report issued by Ningbo Academy of Agricultural Sciences shows that there are no pesticides and heavy metal residues in the leafy vegetables grown here.

Soilless cultivation, no longer watching the sky to eat

Plant factory, as a new agricultural science and technology term, means a factory that produces crops, which integrates a variety of technologies, such as modern biotechnology, environmental control, material science, facility horticulture and computer science.

The full name of this "plant dream factory" in Ningbo is Hangzhou Bay Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., Ningbo supply and Marketing Group. Luo Yajun, the production manager of the company, took the reporter to introduce it all the way in the huge "plant factory".

Six 13-watt lamps are installed on each floor of the seedling room, which starts at 7 o'clock every morning and opens for 12 hours to simulate the natural light environment. In addition, the small hole in the wall of the nursery room will be regularly sprayed with nutrient solution for 10 minutes within the range of 60 cm at 8 o'clock every morning.

Vegetable production can be divided into three stages: sowing and raising seedlings, setting value and harvesting. The seedlings coming out of the nursery will be moved to a transparent and breathable greenhouse.

This seemingly ordinary greenhouse film is another big "artifact" of this factory. The greenhouse uses Japanese Mitsubishi UV-proof drip-free PO agricultural film, through the unique spectral system and strong drip, effectively prevent and control diseases and insect pests, but also control the temperature in the greenhouse to ensure the quality and quantity of vegetable production.

When I walked into the greenhouse, I couldn't find a row of earth foundation. At a height of about 1 meter from the ground, the nursery bed composed of foam board is like a "vegetable garden in the air", and the sound of water is heard from time to time.

Lifting the curtain of the nursery bed, the seedlings are placed in small holes, under which is the recycled nutrient solution. It is understood that about 10 tons of nutrient solution is used in the greenhouse every day. The vegetables planted in this way can be harvested once in 15 to 18 days per mu, and can be replanted more than 10 times in the same mu.

The former "auto repair tycoon" named Duan Xifeng is now contracting 120 mu of land in Donggao Village, Pinggu District, to raise pigs with lactic acid bacteria. In his Tengfengyuan ecological breeding demonstration base, pigs eat self-made lactic acid bacteria feed to improve their immunity and intestinal health. The growth cycle of the pigs is as long as 11 months, the quality is high, and it is recognized by the market.

Walking into Duan Xifeng's lactic acid bacteria ecological pig breeding base, the bacteria room is clean and tidy, with several white vats placed. Duan Xifeng said that lactic acid bacteria is a kind of beneficial bacteria, there are many kinds of lactic acid bacteria in the world, and several suitable strains need to be screened, and the feed ingredients include legumes, corn, wheat bran and other food crops.

"it's a bit unexpected to break into the pig industry, but it's also inevitable." Duan Xifeng, 40, says that his hometown is in Henan. Before he went to Pinggu to run a pig farm, he worked as a logistics manager in the army. After leaving the army, he ran an auto repair factory in Fengtai. After years of hard work, by 2008, the annual net income of his repair shop reached more than 3 million yuan, plus two real estate and three cars, his total assets reached more than 20 million yuan.

In that year, however, Duan Xifeng met an expert of the International Ecological Cooperation Organization and introduced him to a lactic acid bacteria ecological pig breeding method. Duan Xifeng, who had never touched the edge of agriculture, sold all his possessions and invested more than 20 million yuan to raise pigs in rural areas.

With so much money invested in raising pigs, friends around him said that Duan Xifeng was "crazy". Duan Xifeng said that the first few pigs were sold to the wholesale market, just like ordinary pork, and lost a lot of money. Even so, Duan Xifeng, who was unwilling to fail, cobbled together 100000 yuan and invested again in the breeding base, planted more than 8000 ornamental trees, turned the base into a garden-style base, introduced more than 5000 sows and 6 new breeds, and kept more than 5000 pigs in stock.

Not long ago, 1000 ecological piglets in Duan Xifeng's pig farm were adopted by the public, each worth nearly 6000 yuan. "when you are born, you implant the chip and nail the earrings. When you get out of the column, the public can choose to let the pig farm help sell, or they can split it up and take it home and eat it for themselves." Duan Xifeng said: at present, the pig breeding base is transforming pig houses and building organic fertilizer production workshops, and the organic fertilizer produced from pig manure will be used by 38 vegetable greenhouses in the park and vegetable growers in the village, and an ecological pig industry chain will soon be formed.
