Li Li: planting wild vegetables to make people rich

Li Li, male, born in December 1985, bachelor degree, native of Yueyang County, Hunan Province, is one of the first batch of university student village officials in Hunan Province. Now he serves as Deputy Secretary of Party Branch and Village Director of Xinwu Village, Yanglousi Town, Linxiang City, Hunan Province and Chairman of Green Field Star Mountain Wild Vegetable Professional Cooperative in Hunan Province.

Xinwu Village is the south gate of Yanglou Si Town, with convenient transportation. It is a key village in the hometown of Chinese bamboo ware. In recent years, the "two committees" of the village have carried out overall planning for Xinwu Village, focusing on strengthening the organic combination of bamboo culture industry and agricultural small leisure in Xinwu Village, creating two demonstration areas of Xiumei Zhengou and Xingye Dawu in Xinwu Village, and attracting investment to set up more than a dozen enterprises such as bamboo processing plant, quarry factory, biomass pellet fuel plant, shale environmental protection brick factory, colored tile factory and cement factory. The total industrial and agricultural output value of the village reached 120 million yuan, and the average net income per person reached 17800 yuan.

As a university student village official, Li Li has been consistent in his post, rigorous and realistic, serving the masses wholeheartedly, completing various tasks with high quality, making Xinwu Village unique in the construction of new countryside in the whole city, and winning honors such as "New Rural Demonstration Village in Yueyang City" and "New Rural Construction Demonstration Village in Hunan Province".

In addition, Li Li has made clear his ambition, boldly innovated, led the villagers to take the road of starting a business and becoming rich, and wrote unrepentant youth with entrepreneurship. He founded Green Field Star Mountain Wild Vegetable Professional Cooperative in Hunan Province, driving more than 100 households in surrounding villages and towns to plant wild vegetables, realizing the breakthrough of villagers 'net income from several thousand yuan to tens of thousands of yuan, and making the wild vegetable project a good project for strengthening local farmers and enriching the people. Li Li therefore won the honorary title of the 9th National Rural Rich Leader.
