Changping: the output value of strawberries is over 100 million in two years.

Today, "Changping Strawberry" has become a well-known agricultural brand in Changping District and an important pillar industry of "one flower and three fruits". In order to promote the development of strawberry industry, promote the employment of rural surplus labor force, and help farmers increase their income and become rich, nine units, including Beijing Changping District Agricultural Service Center, Beijing Agricultural Technology extension Station, and Beijing Huanai Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., jointly implemented the project "Research and Application of key Technologies of Strawberry production in Changping District".

The main technical contents of the project are as follows: first, the introduction and selection of new strawberry varieties. A total of 97 excellent new strawberry varieties at home and abroad were introduced, and finally "Hong Yan" and "Zhang Ji" were selected as the main varieties in Changping District, and wild strawberries and safflower strawberries were introduced as the science and technology exhibition project of the Seventh World Strawberry Congress. The second is to study the efficient breeding technology of high-quality strawberry seedlings, establish the strawberry tissue culture and rapid propagation center, and introduce the Japanese seedling three-dimensional cultivation method and rain shelter substrate seedling technology. Third, the establishment of a standardized strawberry seedling base, the establishment of a professional strawberry seedling team. Fourth, the main types of microorganisms and soil-borne diseases in strawberry heavy stubble orchard were determined, and different disinfection methods were selected for soil disinfection according to the results of soil monitoring. Fifth, a number of experiments on cultivation, plant protection, soil fertilizer, monitoring and testing were carried out, and two municipal local standards in Beijing and two district-level local standards in Changping District were established.

The main ways and measures to implement the project are: establishing high altitude seedling demonstration base, specialized strawberry seedling demonstration base in Europe and America, strawberry cultivation demonstration base, opening key technology display windows, and organizing various forms of technical training. carry out expert lectures, hold field schools, and hold technical on-site observation meetings relying on farmers' professional cooperatives. Establish a perfect technical service system of the whole region, set up a scientific and technological service team, professional and technical personnel go to the village to enter the household, determine each village to cultivate strawberry cultivation demonstration households, technical services fully cover strawberry cultivation farmers; combined with actual production, form an industrial policy.

The project has achieved good results and benefits. In the past two years, the key production technology of strawberry in solar greenhouse has been popularized by a total of 14289 mu, and the coverage rate of core technology has reached 95%. Strawberry solar greenhouse has developed from 2000 to 8000, quadrupling the cultivated area, and the output value has increased from 67 million yuan to 379 million yuan. it has realized the upgrading of strawberry varieties from Europe to Japan. Strawberry employees reached 2000 farmers, more than 3000 people, industrial chain radiation of more than 6000 people, solving the employment of nearly 10,000 people. At the same time, production technology and seedlings radiated to the main strawberry producing areas across the country, promoting the development of strawberry industry and increasing farmers' income.
