Yang Yuangang is a poor family of four in Maling Village, Shuanglong Township, Pengshui County, Chongqing. Under the guidance and help of the local government, Yang Yuangang changed his way of thinking and developed the pig industry. After many difficulties, the couple finally embarked on the road of getting rid of poverty through hard-working hands.

When you walk into Yang Yuangang's pig farm, there are live piglets and fat pigs who are about to come out. Yang Yuangang said that more than 50 pigs are stored in the pig farm, and the market price of pigs this year is OK. Pig prices have been maintained at 10 yuan per catty. This year's net profit has reached more than 100,000 yuan, which can not only get rid of poverty, but also become a model for local wealth.

There is more than one step from poverty to wealth. Yang Yuangang said that "diligence" is the magic weapon for him to shake off poverty and become rich. in 2012, when Yang Yuangang and his wife were nearly 50 years old, the family mainly depended on farming for a living. because the children in the family often got sick and took medicine, Yang Yuangang had to work harder than others. Even growing food is more than others. In order to increase his income, Yang Yuangang had to go out to work during the day and plough the land with a flashlight when he got home at night.

Recalling those hard days, Yang Yuangang looked sad. As he grew older, Yang Yuangang gradually couldn't bear the days when he worked day and night.

In 2012, Yang Yuangang decided to raise pigs in consultation with his wife. Everything is difficult at the beginning. Yang Yuangang and his wife are holding only 20,000 yuan in their hands and do not know how to start.

In order to save money, the couple decided to build their own circle. "We built the enclosure brick by brick, and each turn was made of cement and stone sand." In this way, it took the couple a whole year to complete the pigsty.

In the first year or two, the pig market was not very prosperous, and the hard-built cottages failed to bring benefits to them and made the whole family more strapped. "dozens of pigs have to eat every day, their own food is far from enough, but also have to spend money to buy food, at that time each pig out of the pen is not enough cost."

It was not until 2015 that the pig market gradually improved and began to make a profit. this year, Yang Yuangang ushered in his first bumper harvest year, the farm gradually got on the right track, and the farmers around him also came to learn from it. Yang Yuangang did not hesitate to give advice. Under his lead, Tang Hua, a villager of three groups in Maling Village, also set up a farm this year.
