He used mechanized sowing, artificial weeding and thinning, fluorescent lamp control pests, estimated yield per mu 8000 jin, total amount reached 710,000 jin. Because carrot sales were very good last year, and the town government also helped contact sales in many ways, coupled with Nie Xiuchen's demonstration, which strengthened the villagers 'confidence in planting carrots.

It is understood that in 1986, the villagers of Sihe Village began to introduce Japanese "five-inch ginseng" carrot seeds for trial planting. After autumn harvest, it was found that the harvested carrots were different from those of neighboring villages in terms of appearance and mouth feel. The cultivated land of Sihe Village itself is thick in black soil layer, and the humus soil is not sticky with sand characteristics. It is located on the coal field. The original geological structure has been destroyed by underground mining, forming the permeability of the soil above. Moreover, the temperature difference in this area is large, the rainfall is abundant, and it has high-quality carrot growth conditions. Moreover, the unique black oil sand soil has good soil quality and no ponding. Carrots produced in Sihe Village are smooth and tidy in appearance, dark red in color, straight without fork and sweet and crisp in taste. From then on, Sihe carrot fame rose, Sihe village almost every family planted carrots, from the initial small area expanded to a large area of large-scale planting, exported to Jiamusi and other areas. In 1989, Sihe carrot was listed as a famous native product in Sifangtai District.

In recent years, according to the requirements of developing modern agriculture, Taibao Town of Sifangtai District has actively expanded carrot planting as an important measure to increase farmers 'income and promote the construction of new countryside, and has achieved remarkable results. Since 2000, the town has actively encouraged and supported the expansion of carrot planting area through policy guidance, successively introduced "Dayu","Huannong 237","Huannong 868" and other varieties for optimization and breeding, and integrated the original "lone army, single fight" planting and sales into a large-scale, standardized cooperative marketing model. In 2015, with the communication and help of the municipal party committee and municipal government, Haotian Vegetable Cooperative was recognized as a carrot direct supply base by Shenzhen Nongmai Tianxia and signed a long-term carrot supply agreement. Sihe Haotian black soil carrot reaches the standard of pollution-free vegetables, more than 3 liang and less than 1 jin, no mildew, no green head, no soil, no crack and no bifurcation. On October 13, 2015, the first batch of 37.2 tons of carrots were sold to Shenzhen Pinghu Vegetable Market, which won the recognition of the general public.

This year, the carrot planting area of Haotian Vegetable Cooperative in Taibao Town has reached 1010 mu, with an estimated annual output of 10 million catties of carrots, an output value of 7 - 8 million yuan and a profit of 3 - 4 million yuan. During the planting and sales period from April to November every year, 70 people will be employed every day. At the same time, in order to actively promote the development of Haotian Vegetable Cooperative, the Party Committee and Government of Taibao Town coordinate and help Haotian Vegetable Cooperative to establish 1500㎡ rough processing workshop by using the existing idle assets in the town, so as to complete the procedures of washing, subdivision and bagging.

At present, 1500㎡ product preservation warehouse and 200㎡ controllable cold storage are under construction, and actively help Haotian Vegetable Cooperative to complete the "green label" certification work within the year.

"Now it seems that it was the right choice to plant carrots at that time. If we didn't plant carrots, I really don't know what life would be like." Brand road, scientific planting, sustainable management…carrot planting has brought rich returns to farmers. Looking at the carrots waiting to be harvested in the field, Zhang Youbo, a grower, was happy.

" We have plenty of sunlight, a wide area of cultivated land, abundant wind and water resources. At the same time, Taibao Town is located on the black soil in the cold region. The temperature difference between day and night is relatively large, which brings great convenience to the growth of crops." Zhang Lichun, secretary of the party committee of Taibao Town, said that on the basis of superior natural conditions, the government of Taibao Town formed the development mode of "government + cooperative organization + farmer + base" and "branch + enterprise + base" through scientific guidance. The development of Taibao carrot has been highly valued by the municipal government. At present, the planting area of Sihe carrot has been listed as the core area of the green organic planting industry planning core gathering area of Shuangyashan City. The planting area of carrot has been expanded with the core area, which is juxtaposed as the base for exporting high-quality vegetables in our city.
