A few days ago, farmers Zhao Maolin and Yin Fengqin from Jinlong Town, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, were picking glittering and translucent grapes in Jinlong Vineyard. After several years of hard work, now, they have finally opened up their own world in the provincial poor villages in Sichuan Province, with more than 20 mu of vineyards hanging fruit, with an annual output value of more than 300,000 yuan, and driving more than 10 local people to work.

Zhao Maolin and Yin Fengqin are from Caoba Village, Sichuan Province. In the 1980s, they left their hometown with the dream of getting rich and went south to work in Shenzhen for more than 20 years. During their stay in Shenzhen, after hard work, the couple finally opened a garment factory of their own. Yin Fengqin became the factory director, took good care of the business, and led a prosperous life.

"during a visit to Zhejiang, I found that there were many vineyards, and tourists were particularly fond of picking grapes. Later, I came up with the idea of going back to my hometown to plant grapes, and after all, the old man in the family is old and the children need to be taken care of. " Yin Fengqin said.

In July 2011, Zhao Maolin and Yin Fengqin returned to their hometown and, under the guidance of their relatives, invested more than 1 million yuan, leased more than 50 mu of land, and carried out soil improvement, shed construction, and other work. From Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other places to introduce more advanced domestic grape varieties, such as Xiayin Mascart, Wenke, and Meizhi, to build the "Golden Dragon Vineyard" and own their own "family farm."

In the transition from running an enterprise to running a family farm, Zhao Maolin and Yin Fengqin suffered a lot in technology, but everything is bitter before it is sweet.

"I still remember a variety called 'Taotaro' a few years ago, when it blossomed and watered it, which later led to poor fruit hanging. There is also a variety called Xiayin Mascart. When it matured that year, the fruit was very small. After repeated practice, it was found that the watering time was not right. " Yin Fengqin introduced.

When it comes to the experience of growing grapes, Zhao Maolin is like a family member. While buying books and learning online, the couple also went to Zhejiang, Shanghai, Yunnan and other places to learn their skills at their own expense. As long as they did not understand, they tried every means to get a drop of water to wear away a stone.

Over the past few years, they have combined theory with practice and used the original ecological planting method to plant, which has produced very good results. According to reports, this planting method is to let the grass grow with the grapes, and once the grapes are ripe, the weeds will be cut off. Weeds can not only moisturize the growth of grapes, increase oxygen, avoid burns, but also improve the soil.

"Don't underestimate the weeds under the grapes, they are all fertilizers for grape growth." Zhao Maolin introduced it in the vineyard.

Today, the couple are proficient in seed selection, cultivation, management, picking and other aspects, and have become local well-known planting experts.

Featuring a large exhibition, "Family Farm" holds up the dream of getting rich.

According to Zhao Maolin, since the Jinlong town government strongly supported the repair of the road from Jianchang town to the vineyard, there was a hot picking scene in the grape picking garden. More than 100 customers came in a day, and the vehicles could hardly stop.

"the harvest period lasts from June to December, and the farm shows three major characteristics, which is why we built the vineyard in the first place." Introduced by Yin Fengqin.

At present, the vineyard has realized the "new", "strange" and "special" three major features: "new", that is, the variety is new; "strange", that is, grapes are as large as eggs and the smallest as peas, and the time difference between morning and evening ripening is long; "special" is that there is a giant in the garden, a bunch of which can be as long as 1 meter long and weigh more than 10 kilograms.

"now we pay attention to the weather forecast every day. Once it gets windy and rainy, I can't sleep. I'm always afraid that the garden will be flooded." While tasting the sweetness of planting, Yin Fengqin also pointed out her own difficulties. Although the technology has passed, due to the lack of professional drainage facilities, the vineyard is still in a state of "relying on heaven for a living". In July last year, the vineyard suffered a severe flood, more than 10 mu of grapes were flooded, resulting in fruit cracking, resulting in a loss of nearly 100000 yuan.

Talking about his plans for the future, Zhao Maolin hopes that while managing the vineyard well, he will continue to expand the scale, increase farm music, fishing and other supporting facilities, and build the family farm into an integrated rural leisure base for sightseeing, picking, fishing, and so on.
