Farmers in Guangshan cultivate Penaeus vannamei to lead farmers to become rich.
Chen Yuanliang, a farmer from Sanliqiao Village, Zishui Street Office, Guangshan County, is fishing shrimp fields for sale to Hefei City, Anhui Province, August 31.
Chen Yuanliang did not forget his neighbors after becoming rich in drinking large-scale food industry. In February this year, he invested 6.8 million yuan in Zhaihe Town and Xianju Township of the county to contract 420 fields and ponds, and introduced Penaeus vannamei seedlings from Haikou City of Hainan Province for breeding. At present, Penaeus vannamei has matured and sold. It is estimated that the output of Penaeus vannamei will be more than 10 kg this year. The products will be sold to Zhengzhou, Hefei, Nanjing and other big cities. The net income this year will reach 1.9 million yuan, which can drive 26 poor households to raise Penaeus vannamei from poverty and become rich.
