In Dongjituo Town, Ninghe District, whenever Hou Qingyong is mentioned, people say that he is a new type of farmer with a flexible mind and daring to take the lead. Because over the years, Hou Qingyong, relying on his own diligence and wisdom, explored a set of methods for raising foxes and beetles, and embarked on the road to wealth.

Hou Qingyong is a farmer in Xiaolu Village. He has been raising foxes for nearly ten years, and the number of foxes raised has gone from dozens at first to more than 500 now, and he has also tasted the benefits of getting rich. However, after visiting and investigating, he learned that the market situation of fox breeding in the north was ever-changing, so Hou Qingyong did not blindly expand the scale of breeding, but focused on breeding technology.

"according to the current market, the market price of foxes is very low, and I can't control it, so I'll start with breeding technology and increase the number of foxes, and the cost and price will be relatively low," says Hou Qingyong.

At the same time, Hou Qingyong also paid close attention to the feed ratio and disease prevention and control, observed the fox's habits and living rules in the fox house every day, and studied and explored the breeding experience. "our fox is domesticated in the wild, sleeps in the day and comes out at night, and it should be fed less during the day. At night, it can be delayed and fed more. It rarely gets sick, and it is easier to raise than pigs, cattle and sheep." Introduced by Hou Qingyong.

Although foxes are easier to raise than other livestock, they need to be carefully taken care of during pregnancy.

Hou Qingyong told reporters that foxes give birth in June every year, and usually a litter of female foxes can give birth to about 10 cubs, but the survival rate of the cubs is often only half. Foxes are very 'hypocritical' when they are pregnant, and it is easy to have a miscarriage if they set off firecrackers or hit a few heavy thunder on rainy days. During pregnancy, the female fox needs to rest, keep the food fresh and eat highly nutritious food. Eggs and milk are his favorites.

On this basis, Hou Qingyong increased the species of culture, improved culture technology, and bought more than 200 birds.

Where there's a will, there's a way. Today, Hou Qingyong's foxes and beetles raised this year are shiny and have long been ordered by acquirers. The characteristic breeding of foxes and foxes has formed the "double insurance" of Hou Qingyong's farm, and it has also become a "gas station" for him to increase his income and become rich.
