Zhang Shengyu: raising ducks on the road to prosperity
On September 4, Zhang Shengyu, a villager of Hongyan formation in Jianyan Village, Chuandong Street, Bijiang District, while feeding ducks, talked about "Qian Jing" of raising ecological ducks. Zhang Shengyu contracted more than 10 mu of land to raise ecological wild ducks, turning the wasteland into golden land. there are nearly 2000 ecological wild ducks annually, with an annual net income of 100000 yuan.
Zhang Shengyu, 40 years old, went out to work since the age of 15, and successively took odd jobs in Guangdong, Jiangsu and other places. Although his monthly salary rose from a few hundred yuan to several thousand yuan, he moved to different places and factories during the period. Not only did he work hard, but he could not earn money. More than 20 years later, the living conditions of Zhang Shengyu's family had not been effectively changed. Zhang Shengyu considered that working was not a long-term solution. So I came up with the idea of going back to my hometown for development.
At the end of 2015, when Zhang Shengyu was working in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, by chance, Zhang Shengyu ate what he thought was the best dry-pot duck. He learned that the ducks in this restaurant were free-range ecological ducks, and the price was several times higher than that of ordinary ducks. This made him determined to go back to his hometown and start his own business based on the advantages of natural resources.
In January 2016, he took out all his savings from working in recent years, raised more than 200,000 yuan through policy support and loans, and set up an ecological egg duck farm covering an area of more than 10 mu in Hongyantang, Jianyan village. and introduced flying ducks, spotted-billed wild ducks and other species from other places. Under his scientific feeding, in less than a year, all his ecological wild ducks were on the market, and the annual net income is expected to reach more than 100,000 yuan.
Zhang Shengyu, who successfully started a business, next plans to expand the duck farm, expand the scale of raising ducks, increase breeding programs for young wild ducks and meat ducks, allow accurate poor households to take shares, take the development path of "company + cooperative + peasant household", and adopt an one-stop production mode of raising, purchasing, selling, and processing to drive the poor families of the village out of poverty and become rich.
