The average price of vegetables in the domestic market has risen

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture, in the 35th week of 2016 (August 29-September 4, 2016, the same below), the "National Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural products" was 210.62 (compared with 2000), an increase of 5.11 points over the previous week; and the "National Wholesale Price Index of vegetable basket products" was 213.61 (100 in 2000), an increase of 6.24 points over the previous week, of which vegetables and eggs contributed the most. The total trading volume of 60 varieties in 50 key wholesale markets was 584900 tons, down 2.3% from the previous week.

The price of eggs rose slightly, while the price of pig, beef and mutton remained flat and fell slightly. The average weekly price of eggs was 8.17 yuan per kilogram, up 4.6% from the previous month, rising for the third consecutive week, 11.4% lower than the same period last year; pork 25.05 yuan per kilogram, down 0.4% from the previous month and 2.2% higher than the same period last year; beef was 53.19 yuan per kilogram, down 0.2% from the previous month and 1.3% lower than the same period last year; mutton was 44.05 yuan per kilogram, down 0.6% from the previous month and 7.5% lower than the same period last year White-striped chicken costs 14.79 yuan per kilogram, down 0.3% from the previous month and 0.5% higher than the same period last year. The weekly trading volume of the above five animal products (the total trading volume of 50 key wholesale markets, the same below) was 15700 tons, down 4.3% from the previous month.

The prices of aquatic products are mixed. The weekly average prices of large belt carp, carp, silver carp and grass carp were 32.17 yuan, 11.64 yuan, 11.78 yuan and 13.04 yuan respectively, up 1.8%, 0.4%, 0.4% and 0.2% respectively over the previous month. The weekly average prices of silver carp, big yellow croaker and crucian carp were 6.86 yuan, 43.34 yuan and 17.88 yuan per kilogram, down 1.4%, 1.4% and 0.7% respectively. The weekly trading volume of seven kinds of aquatic products was 12000 tons, down 2.4% from the previous month.

The average price of vegetables went up. The average weekly price of 28 kinds of vegetables monitored was 4.11 yuan per kilogram, up 8.2% from the previous month, the ninth consecutive week of increase, an increase of 4.1 percentage points, and 7.3% higher than the same period last year. The market reflects that this year's climate is different from normal years, summer vegetables are listed earlier and the supply is adequate, but the delisting is also earlier than in previous years, resulting in a tight supply of vegetables in the near future, some road vegetables also appear stubble phenomenon, and prices are rising rapidly. In terms of varieties, the prices of 24 kinds of vegetables rose, 2 were flat, and 2 fell. Among them, tomatoes, zucchini and beans increased by 33.2%, 29.5% and 27.8%, respectively, while onions and pumpkins were basically flat. Lotus root and potato fell 1.3% and 0.5% respectively. The weekly trading volume of 28 kinds of vegetables was 444000 tons, an increase of 1.4% over the previous month.

The prices of most fruits have gone up. The weekly average prices of seven kinds of fruits monitored were 4.95 yuan per kilogram, up 1.2% from the previous month and 2.6% lower than the same period last year. In terms of varieties, the weekly average prices of pineapple, watermelon, banana and Fuji apple rose 5.9%, 5.3%, 3.7% and 1.4% respectively, while Jufeng grape and Yali pear fell 2.7% and 1.7% respectively. The weekly trading volume of seven kinds of fruits was 98400 tons, down 15.9% from the previous month.
