The purpose of the state's targeted poverty alleviation is to achieve common prosperity for all the people. As long as it is a real poor household, help is necessary. However, getting rid of poverty and becoming rich ultimately depends on the hard work of the poor people. Therefore, poverty alleviation is definitely not a simple material help, but also intellectual support. What is more important is to support the spirit and change the idea of being willing to be poor.

First, we should organically combine poverty alleviation with aspiration support. We should not only send warmth, but also send ambition and confidence, so as to enable the poor people to establish the courage and confidence to get rid of poverty and become rich.

Second, we should attach importance to the construction of spiritual civilization and folk customs in rural areas. Vigorously carry forward the concept of getting rich through hard work and glorious labor. Cultivate a model of industrious poverty alleviation to form a demonstration effect. With village style and folk customs, people's aspirations should be brought along to enhance the desire of poor households to get rid of poverty.

Third, it is necessary to carry out technical training, broaden the vision of poor households, provide ways to become rich according to local conditions, create conditions for labor to become rich, and stimulate the enthusiasm of poor farmers for labor.

Fourth, we should intensify supervision and transformation. For individual farmers who are poor due to laziness, we should follow up and supervise their production and development in a timely manner, educate and guide those who have fluctuations and repetitions in their thoughts and behaviors, and insist on not changing their ideological understanding and giving up their education and guidance work.
