According to the current national policy and trend, the author boldly predicts that China's agriculture will have the following great changes in the next 20 years.

I. branding of agriculture

Agricultural products will experience branding in the future development. at present, many bases that I have come into contact with to do organic products have paid great attention to the branding of their own products. Although the brand awareness is not high, at least they have this awareness! Take cucumbers as an example. When you go to the market to buy vegetables and tell the vegetable seller, "I want a kilo of cucumbers," the vegetable seller will ask, "what brand of cucumbers do you want?" Moreover, because of the differences in varieties, regions and cultivation techniques, the prices of cucumbers of different brands will vary greatly. At that time, agricultural products have brands, different brands have different prices will become the norm.

II. Large-scale agricultural operation

With the orderly reform of the national land policy, after 20 years, there will be fewer and fewer small farmers operating a few mu of land, and medium and large-scale farmers will become the mainstream. There are large-scale operators who plant thousands of mu or even tens of thousands of mu of land, but not many. (the author predicts that China's agriculture will not develop into a large-scale agricultural economy in the form of Europe and America, nor will it develop into a small-scale peasant economy in the form of Japan and South Korea, the former causing unemployment of a large number of farmers and the latter causing insufficient production.)

III. The prices of agricultural products have risen sharply

Good agricultural products, high quality and good price. In 20 years' time, the average price of agricultural products will probably rise by 5 to 10 times compared with the current average price, and the price increase of agricultural products now has increased by more than 10 times compared with that of 20 years ago. The price increase mentioned here does not take into account inflation, but only because of the increase in value brought about by the increase in the quality of agricultural products.

IV. High-quality farmers

At present, the vast majority of domestic farmers have a low level of education and knowledge, and the overall education level of people engaged in agricultural production is on the low side. Twenty years later, it will be different. The vast majority of farmers will be highly qualified people. They come from three aspects: first, industrial and commercial entrepreneurs, second, university graduates, and third, rural farming experts. On the other hand, the training of new farmers will also become a norm in the future.

V. Agricultural mechanization

In 20 years' time, all aspects of agricultural production, such as irrigation, sowing and harvesting, will be mechanized, agricultural production will become easier, and farmers will be liberated from heavy manual labor, regardless of whether they are large-scale agriculture or small-scale farmers. At the same time, agricultural tools satisfied with two forms of agricultural materials will also become a very important industrial and commercial market.

In view of these changes, both traditional agricultural practitioners and new agricultural entrepreneurs need to grasp the future trend and be prepared to cope with the changes, so that they can have a long-term foothold in the large field of agriculture!
