Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Development and Reform Commission and other nine departments jointly issued the "guidance on the Development of characteristic Industries in Poverty-stricken areas to promote accurate Poverty Alleviation." In the "six accurate" poverty alleviation policies put forward by the "opinions", industrial poverty alleviation is undoubtedly an important play. The author believes that the key to do a good job in industrial poverty alleviation lies in grasping "precision" and "characteristics".

The so-called "precision" means the accurate selection of industrial projects, the accurate selection of the scope of settling in poor areas, and the precise mode of industrial development, so as to achieve "prescribing the right medicine to the case" and "ordering dishes according to demand". The so-called "characteristics" means to take measures according to local conditions and deeply excavate the natural resources, tourism resources and cultural resources with local characteristics, so as to explore the industrial development model that suits the local reality, so as to make full use of the advantageous resources in poor areas and achieve great-leap-forward development.

At present, the overall level of development of characteristic industries in poor areas is not high, and the resource advantages of many places have not been effectively transformed into industrial and economic advantages, so it is necessary to take comprehensive measures to highlight the characteristics. The author believes that to accurately promote industrial poverty alleviation, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the following factors: first, whether the supporting institutional mechanisms of financial agriculture-related funds and financial support for industrial support for development are basically available and perfect; second, whether the poor areas have accurate positioning of local characteristic industries, and whether there is potential to be tapped. Third, whether industrial development helps to achieve high participation of the poor, whether the results of industrial development can maximize the benefit of the poor; fourth, whether it helps to improve the skills of poor people to get rid of poverty and become rich.
