Groups of native chicken sellers poured into the chicken farm from all over the country, and trucks loaded with native chickens drove out of the breeding base. This is a scene that happens every once in a while in Tang Ying's farm.

Tang Ying, three groups of people in Baijia Community, Baijia Town, Dianjiang County, Chongqing, is not only a simple and ordinary peasant woman, but also a non-simple entrepreneur. With more than a decade of hard work, she has changed from a "chicken dealer" selling broilers from street to street to a chicken farm owner with thousands of native chickens, and has become a veritable "chicken king" in the town. In the course of exploration and struggle, Tang Ying found her own way to get rich.

Find the business opportunity to be a "chicken peddler"

"cackle. Cluck. " Recently, as soon as the reporter approached Tang Ying's native chicken breeding base, he saw the strong and feathered native chicken all over the slope, adding a different kind of scenery to the silent hillside.

"when it comes to my way of raising chickens, I have to start from selling chickens more than a decade ago." In the native chicken farm, talking about the way of breeding, Tang Ying issued such a sigh to the reporter.

In 1998, the shrewd Tang Ying saw that rural native chickens sold well in the cities, while the villagers were worried about the business opportunities, so they became "chicken dealers" from street to street. "I bought the native chicken in the countryside, then shipped it to the main city of Chongqing and sold it to various restaurants. I can earn about 2 yuan per jin." Tang Ying said that because the local chickens she sells are genuine, and the merchants in the city are willing to deal with her, she can earn more than 20,000 yuan a year by selling them.

Having been in the chicken business for two years, Tang Ying not only made money, but also learned a lot of things by virtue of her experience of selling chickens from door to door on the street, such as what kind of chicken is an unfed native chicken, how to feed it to be delicious, and so on.

Start-up local chicken farms have suffered heavy losses

"since native chickens in rural areas are so popular, why don't I raise them myself and sell them?" With the continuous accumulation of experience, Tang Ying is no longer willing to be a "chicken dealer".

As a result, in 2000, Tang Ying decided to give up the lucrative business of selling chickens and went back to three groups in Baijia Community, Baijia Town, his hometown, and set up a local chicken farm with 50,000 yuan earned from selling chickens and more than 20,000 yuan borrowed from relatives and friends. After several twists and turns, Tang Ying traded her contracted land for a neighbor's site close to the roadside, built a chicken shed, and bought nearly a thousand young chickens to raise.

The ideal is very plump, the reality is very bony. At the beginning of her business, Tang Ying, in addition to accumulating sales experience and extensive contacts when selling chickens, did not master much skills in raising native chickens and relevant experience in dealing with emergency situations, so that the first batch of chickens were destroyed by a chicken plague without warning.

"by the time these chickens died of illness, they had already weighed three or four kilos, which is a pity." Tang Ying told reporters that the first time raising chickens, the direct economic loss of more than 50,000 yuan, coupled with the money spent on the treatment of sick chickens, the chicken plague caused heavy losses to the newly built chicken farm.

Try a lot of hardships before running a farm to achieve success.

"if you don't do business without losing money, you don't want to go home and raise chickens!" Tang Ying said that such emotions had bothered her, but now that she had chosen, she had to stick to the end and make an appearance. In 2001, after experiencing the pain of her first entrepreneurial failure, Tang Ying chose to grit her teeth and went to work in Chongqing again. during her seven years, she worked as a construction handyman, a hotel waiter and a salesperson in a shopping mall.

"the hardest days were the years when I was crawling around on the construction site." Recalling the difficulties after the failure of starting a business, Tang Ying sighed very much. "at that time, I went to the construction site to work as a plumber. I had to pick up mortar for four masons at the same time and work for at least 10 hours a day." Tang Ying told reporters that in the face of intensive work every day, she also thought of giving up, but always told herself silently, "Don't be afraid, survive today, the venture capital will accumulate another 25 yuan."

In 2004, in Tang Ying's third year as a handyman, her thin body began to feel unwell due to a long period of overload. Then, introduced by a friend, Tang Ying went to work as a waitress in a hotel. A year later, Tang Ying became a salesperson in a shopping mall.

If you put your mind to it, the sky will live up to it. After years of hard work, Tang Ying has some savings. As a result, in 2008, Tang Ying again chose to go home to start a business. However, this time she did not immediately rebuild the chicken farm, but chose the booming real estate industry at that time.

As a result of this foray into the real estate industry, Tang Ying's economic predicament was completely changed in 2012 and became a well-known local boss. However, just when everyone thought that Tang Ying had continued to develop her skills in this field since then, Tang Ying unexpectedly left the real estate industry and turned around to rebuild the chicken farm and learn about breeding everywhere.

Today, Tang Ying's chicken farm has begun to take shape, with thousands of native chickens and hundreds of ducks and geese.
