According to reports, the invalid identity card information system has the functions of real-time data update and dynamic maintenance, and realizes the immediate invalidation of all lost and stolen identity cards through online verification of various social card departments and units.

Huang Ming said that to create a safe and standardized environment for the use of identity cards, various social card departments and units are the key links. The Ministry of Public Security will further deepen the linkage mechanism with various social departments for the use of identity cards, establish a blacklist system for fraudulent use of identity cards, step up efforts to prevent and crack down on crimes committed by fraudulent use of identity cards, improve the accountability of card users that fail to perform the responsibility of verifying the consistency of witnesses, and strengthen the security protection of citizens' personal information.
