The average yield of super rice per ten thousand mu in Guangshan County is more than 800kg.

The Henan Agricultural Technology Popularization Association organized relevant experts to test and accept the yield of the 10,000 mu demonstration piece of super hybrid rice located in Zhuanqiao Town, Guangshan County. The results showed that the average yield per mu exceeded 800kg, reaching 813.5 kg. Achieve the set target on schedule.

The demonstration project of "10 million" high yield of super hybrid rice was presided over by Academician Yuan Longping in 2014, and it is planned to achieve the high yield targets of 1000 kg per mu, 900kg per mu and 800kg per mu in three years. Guangshan County is one of the only two demonstration counties with high yield of 10,000 mu in the country. After on-site yield measurement and field acceptance by experts, the average yield per mu of 100 mu demonstration film and 1000 mu demonstration film in Guangshan County project area exceeded 1000 kg and 900kg in 2014 and 2015, achieving the phased expected target of that year.

This year is the third and last year of the implementation of the "10 million" demonstration project for the high yield of super hybrid rice. According to the plan, the average yield per mu of demonstration pieces should reach 800 kg, and the scheduled target task of the "10 billion" high-yield demonstration project should be completed in an all-round way.

In this actual cutting, 8 pieces were cut, and the actual harvest area of each field was not less than 500m2. By weighing the gross weight of rice on the spot and measuring the water content of rice, the average yield of ten thousand mu demonstration pieces of super hybrid rice was 813.5 kg per mu.
