The rapid progress is mainly due to the fact that the corn maturity period in Shandong, Henan, Anhui and other provinces is 3-5 days ahead of schedule this year. Soybean has completed 30.0%, 6.4 percentage points faster than the same period last year. By region, nearly 70% of autumn harvest in southwest China, 40% in Huanghuaihai region and northwest China, 30% in middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and 10% in northeast China are faster than the same period last year.

Since autumn sowing, most of the winter wheat areas in the north have sufficient soil moisture, most of the rape producing areas in the south have good matching of light and warm water, and the sowing progress of wheat and rape is generally smooth. As of September 30, more than 15 million mu of winter wheat has been sown nationwide, which is relatively fast; more than 9 million mu of winter rape has been sown, with the same progress as the same period last year.

According to the Central Meteorological Observatory forecast, the next 7 days in northern China more cold air, but most of the south to sunny, southwest sunny and rainy alternate. Most of the moisture content in the country is suitable, which is conducive to the smooth development of autumn planting. Prepare enough agricultural machinery and agricultural materials as soon as possible, speed up the progress of stubble removal, improve the quality of land preparation, guide all localities to scientifically arrange sowing time, seize the favorable opportunity of rainfall, seize the moisture and sow, so as to ensure that crops are sown at the right time and sown at one time. In the areas of serious ecological degradation in Southwest China, the task of fallow cultivation should be implemented to the fields before planting in autumn and winter. Organize experts and agricultural technicians to formulate and print autumn and winter sowing technical scheme as soon as possible, reasonably arrange variety layout, guide scientific seed selection in various places, focus on popularizing key stable yield and yield increasing technologies such as deep ploughing and deep loosening, seed dressing with chemicals and suppression after sowing, improve sowing quality and ensure complete seedlings at one sowing.
