Pengkeng Village is located 5 kilometers north of Guiyang Township Government in Dehua County, with a woodland area of 20,000 mu, with dense vegetation, bamboo sea and vast forests. Although it has such a superior geographical environment, with the promotion of the strategy of Dachengguan in Dehua County, a large number of rural people go to the city, and large areas of land are gradually abandoned because of unmanned cultivation. In recent years, the wave of returning home to start a business has gradually sprung up, and some people have successively turned their attention to this "treasure land" and carefully studied the classics of getting rich with ecological characteristics in the depths of the mountains. It is reported that the village will also combine accurate poverty alleviation work, stimulate the enthusiasm of poor households and villagers through the base, promote development through points, and make use of rich forest and bamboo resources to plan to develop underforest planting and breeding industries such as Dictyophora and Huanghua Yuanzhi, and to increase villagers' income.

Ecological stocking quality is the last word.

At the end of autumn, near the Dongbankeng corner of Pengkeng Village, surrounded by mountains, the springs gurgled and no people were inhabited, but there was a chicken coop in the depths of each bamboo forest, and the sound of "giggling" chickens could be heard from afar. Either in small groups or in clusters, they scrambled to return to the henhouse, and the sound instantly made this quiet mountain forest very lively. It turned out that it was the "Chicken Commander"-Lin Renju, the person in charge of the chicken farm, to feed them.

"I come to feed every morning and evening, and when they hear my shout, they will run back from all directions in the mountains and forests." "as there are no villagers living within a three-kilometer radius, the natural primeval forest and bamboo sea have become a good living environment for chickens," Lin said. "at the same time, chicken dung makes the soil more fertile, providing sufficient nourishment for the growth of Phyllostachys pubescens on the mountain." the villagers are also very happy. "

In the nursery, a group of new buddies have been welcomed recently. "these chicks were sent to the breeding room as soon as they came out of their shell, with a total of 6400 chicks, and they will be able to put them on the mountain to forage freely in more than 20 days." Lin Renyi grabbed a chick, carefully examined its health, and excitedly introduced it to the reporter.

"each outdoor farm covers an area of five or six mu, and it is all distributed along the stream." Qiu Zhenshi, a technician of the chicken farm, told the reporter that the chicken farm was built beside the stream because there were many small sand and stones by the stream, and the chicks pecked at the sand and stone to promote intestinal digestion, so that the gizzards would grow bigger and healthier.

"there are five outdoor chicken farms and two breeding rooms in the corner of Dongbankeng, with a total of more than 20,000 birds." Qiu Zhenshi said that choosing to raise chickens in the mountains increases the amount of exercise of the chickens, and usually feeds rice, so the meat of the chickens is more delicious.

"the environment here is good, there are mountains and water, and far away from the crowd, such a rare natural corner, it is a pity if we do not make good use of it." Qiu Zhenshi said, "nowadays, most of the competitors in the market work hard on the price, but we pay more attention to the quality of chicken. Although the product cycle of stocking native chicken is longer and the risk is higher, but reassuring people who eat it is what we care more about."
