Classified Treatment of Rural Waste Needs Attention

Recently, I went to the countryside to see that garbage bins have been built in many villages, but the garbage has not been sorted and recycled, which not only encroaches on the surface and pollutes rivers, but also breeds mosquitoes and flies, threatening people's health. The classification of rural garbage needs to be paid more attention.

On the basis of scientific planning, according to the population of each village, and in accordance with the principles of proximity, economy and convenient transportation, the garbage sorting yard shared by several villages should be established for the classification and disposal of rural garbage. To build a good rural garbage sorting yard, at the same time, we can adopt multiple financing methods such as local subsidies, set up special funds for rural environmental sanitation, set up special accounts, and solve the problem of financial constraints on garbage disposal. This work is listed as an important part of the annual work assessment of township and village leaders. In terms of manpower input, each village can hire special cleaners from the villagers to be responsible for the sanitary cleaning work of each village to ensure that the daily production of rural garbage is clear.

It is necessary to combine the classified treatment of garbage with the improvement of toilets, water and biogas in rural areas. In addition to the methods of garbage classification, landfill and incineration, we can also promote the harmless treatment of rural garbage through the construction of biogas digester and the development of ecological agriculture. If biogas digesters are popularized in rural areas, the leftovers, roots and leaves of vegetables and human and animal feces in domestic waste will be effectively disposed of. Biogas digester and toilet are built into one, and biogas slurry can be used to water fruit trees, grow vegetables or raise fish. The construction of more biogas digesters is not only the main means of harmless garbage treatment, but also biogas slurry is an efficient organic fertilizer, which can achieve win-win economic and ecological benefits.
