On September 11, the reporter learned at the first High-level Forum on the Development of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Chinese migrant Workers returning to their hometown held in Huichuan District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province that a large number of migrant workers returned home to start businesses and innovates. it has become an important force to promote regional economic and social development and promote secondary entrepreneurship.

Experts attending the meeting said that with the economic and social transformation and development, the capital and technological advantages accumulated by migrant workers in urban development have formed a complementary effect with the current shortage of funds, technology, and talents in rural development. By the end of 2015, the total number of migrant workers returning home to start businesses had exceeded 4.5 million, accounting for about 2 per cent of the total number of migrant workers. There are a total of 25.05 million registered individual industrial and commercial households, more than 400,000 agricultural products processing enterprises, 270000 leisure agricultural operators and 2.5 million new agricultural operators. With the return of migrant workers to their hometown for entrepreneurship and innovation, a new trend has emerged.

During the forum, experts attending the forum focused on migrant workers' return to their hometown for entrepreneurship and innovation and the promotion of supply-side structural reform, the construction of a new type of urbanization, the balanced development of urban and rural areas, the coordinated development of regional economy, and how the government cracked the policy shortcomings of migrant workers returning home to start their own business. issues such as the board were discussed. While summarizing and promoting the "Huichuan experience," experts suggest that various localities can support migrant workers' entrepreneurs according to the actual situation, such as building business incubation bases and service platforms, guiding more institutions to provide various services for returning migrant workers, vigorously carrying out entrepreneurship training and special training for migrant workers, and improving the entrepreneurial employability of returning migrant workers.

Huichuan District of Zunyi City has been committed to the exploration of migrant workers returning home to start a business, and has embarked on a path with local characteristics of entrepreneurship to promote employment, innovation to promote development, and to promote accurate poverty alleviation, beautiful rural construction and coordinated development of the county economy. a large number of typical examples of migrant workers returning home for entrepreneurship and innovation have emerged, which is known as the birthplace of China's migrant workers' return policy. At present, Huichuan District, Zunyi City, a total of 12064 migrant workers start-up households, accounting for 58% of migrant workers returning home, a total of 47526 people were employed.
