In 2011, he began to experiment with raising seedlings and invested 500000 yuan. due to the lack of technology, experience and other aspects, the survival rate was only about 15 to 20 percent. The failure of the first experiment did not defeat Peng Mingfa. He became more and more brave and continued to raise seedlings in the second year. His experiment was successful. Peng Mingfa's base currently has 5500 large seedlings, 15000 medium seedlings and 100000 small seedlings, with a planting area of 120mu and an investment of more than 6 million yuan. Peng Mingfa also plans to expand the planting of 100 mu of golden scented tea this winter and next spring. Peng Mingfa said that this year, they began to trial produce 1000 jin of fresh flowers, and according to the floor price given by the acquisition company, not less than 200,000 to 300,000 yuan per year. According to the current growth situation of golden scented tea, it is expected to produce more than 10,000 jin of flowers next year.

Peng Mingfa has also adopted the model of "company + base + farmers". At present, four households (poor households) in the village have been driven to participate in the cultivation of golden scented tea, and the company has provided farmers with seedlings, fertilizers, technology, land formation, recovery, and so on.
