However, a few years ago, when he learned that many asparagus in his hometown were being unpopular, Li Yongguan was worried, and immediately came up with the idea of going back to his hometown to help villagers build a brand of asparagus, and immediately began a two-year investigation and exploration.

In early 2014, Li Yongguan, who had been out there for 11 years, decided to quit his job in Wuhan and return to his hometown to start a business.

Li Yongguan invested all his savings in the development of asparagus. In 3 months, he completed trademark registration, brand packaging design, and registered the company. Three months after the establishment of the company, Li Yongguan signed an order of 200000 jin.

However, it was difficult for him to complete the order of 200000 jin at that time.

First of all, vegetable farmers do not trust the dealers, and secondly, because the planting area of asparagus is not large at that time, there is a certain distance from achieving the goal.

In order to win the trust of vegetable farmers, Li Yongguan decided to set an example by planting 20 mu of asparagus himself, all of which were planted with organic fertilizer for standardized and large-scale management. 45 days later, asparagus harvest, looking at the thick green, crisp mouth and teeth, aroma of asparagus, customers full of praise, farmers who are willing to cooperate are also coming. We planted asparagus together and completed the first large orders on schedule.

At present, Li Yongguan has 170 mu of hollow vegetable base in Toushen Village, Duowen Town, with more than 60 farmers participating in planting. Lingao is also planning to build a 500-mu hollow vegetable demonstration base to guide more farmers to carry out standardized production.

This year, Li Yongguan also sold the "head god" hollow vegetables to other provinces, and the average purchase price of hollow vegetables increased from more than 1 yuan per jin to more than 3 yuan per jin, which greatly increased the confidence of the villagers.

Introduction of honeysuckle planting

When the brand of spinach is in full swing, Li Yongguan is also thinking about how to combine the employment of farmers with the development of local industry. In order to help more farmers without industry to increase their income, but also to create a local new business type, Li Yongguan thought, and then introduced the honeysuckle planting industry.

Recently, at the poverty alleviation job fair held in Lingao County, Li Yongguan's honeysuckle project base won many farmers to register for jobs because of its working location close to home and flexible jobs.

According to Li Yongguan, at present, the honeysuckle planting base has just started, with only 200 mu, requiring about 100 workers. It is expected that the base will expand to 50,000 mu within five years, and is expected to provide thousands of jobs. At the same time, we will introduce the mandala planting industry, devote ourselves to the building of the whole industry chain, and strive to build Lingao into the raw material base of China's traditional Chinese medicine industry.

At present, Lingao honeysuckle planting has introduced advanced technology from outside the province, and professional and technical personnel are in charge of the base for guidance. The first batch of honeysuckle has also been planted, and Li Yongguan is full of confidence.
