"gathering" aquaculture ecological agriculture "money" Jingguang
A strong rooster of ■
Huang Bin, a farmer in Yinshan Town, Zizhong County, has used traditional technology to incubate eggs and sell chickens for 30 years. Two years ago, he changed his business thinking and "gathered" idle land in rural areas to raise chickens, ducks and fish. He produced 200000 chickens and ducks a year and raised tens of thousands of jin of fish.
"Boss Huang, please send 100 running pheasants to Baiyun Mountain 'Baiyun Lake Leisure Villa'. Come on, we're running out of stock. " Early in the morning of November 6, Huang Bin, an aquaculture operator in Washangou Village, Yinshan Town, received a call from a customer asking for delivery as soon as possible. "Brothers, let's get to work and catch chickens!" Huang Bin called on the workers to get up.
In autumn and winter, after sales are booming, this is not the first time Huang Bin has arranged for workers to get up early.
■ from incubation egg sales to ecological breeding
Huang Bin's parents are both farmers and support their families by incubating eggs inherited from their ancestors. In the 1980s, his parents passed on the egg incubation technique to Huang Bin, giving him a skill in eating.
At that time, 3,000 to 4,000 chickens were hatched every month, and they kept going to various towns to sell them. because of the high consumption of hatching chicks, they could only earn NT $10,000 to NT $20,000 a year. After having a little savings, Huang Bin successively went to Xizang and Yunnan to "switch careers" to contract minor projects. as a result, he lost all his money, and in desperation, he returned to his hometown to start his old business.
In 2001, Huang Bin, who started all over again, met Tang Min of Neijiang chicken farm and became husband and wife. With the strong support of Tang Min, an "egg incubator", the survival rate of chicks was greatly improved. After nearly 10 years of operation, Huang Bin accumulated a certain amount of original capital. after inspecting the market, he came up with a new idea and planned to extend the egg incubation industry and engage in ecological breeding in rural areas. "Modern people pay attention to nutrition and health when eating. Green food such as ecological chicken must not worry about the market." Huang Bin thinks.
■ ecological agriculture has a bright future.
Just do it, because most of the local villagers have gone out to work, and there is a lot of idle land. After obtaining the consent of the village group cadres and local villagers, Huang Bin centrally planned these idle land and set up a chicken and duck farm with a scale of more than 200 mu. He also contracted 120 mu of local reservoir to raise crucian carp, and under the guidance of his wife Tang Min's "professional technology", cocks and hens were raised separately. All the "chicken pens" are spread around the reservoir, the field is wide, the air is good, the drinking water is good, the farmed chickens are active, and all the aggressive Roosters are tight and chewy, while the hens are busy laying eggs. Every day, Huang Bin arranged for the workers to mow the grass to feed the rooster, collect worms and feed the hens. "Grain is matched with grass, and the nutrition of Roosters and hens can keep up. The hen eats some worms at the right time and makes more use of laying eggs. " Tang Min said.
The reporter came to the scene to see that the cocks were running and fighting on the hillside, the hens were either looking for food in the grass or laying eggs in the shacks, and the fish were playing in the waves, what a scene of ecological countryside. There are also leisure kiosks being built to attract people who come to the countryside to fish and taste ecological food.
Huang Bin told reporters that now his farm routine stock of nearly 30, 000 chickens and ducks, a batch of goods a week, a year out of about 200000 chickens and ducks. In addition to the local market, it is also sold to Chengdu, Anyue and other cities.
