Liang Yusheng, a demobilized soldier in Huaiji, returned to his hometown to do three-dimensional cultivation and become rich.
Liang Yusheng inspected the growth of fruits and chickens in the orchard.

When the jujube is ripe, the orchard chickens are looking for food under the fruit trees in droves. In an orchard at the foot of Gangshui Village, Liangcun Town, Huaiji County, Liang Yusheng, a demobilized soldier in his late twenties, stood high, enjoying the joy of entrepreneurial success and recalling the hardship of starting a business, as well as the warmth of his comrades-in-arms helping him in times of difficulty.
Take off your military uniform and join the ranks of migrant workers.
Liang Yusheng is a native of Guishui Village, Liangcun Town, Huaiji County. In the early winter of 1977, he signed up for the army and came to serve in the army where the anti-Japanese hero "Langya Mountain five strong Men" once belonged.
In the early spring of 1979, a battle to defend southern Xinjiang began. Liang Yusheng went to the front with the army and fought the enemy in a hail of bullets. after the war, he won third-class meritorious service, joined the party and became a monitor.
In the winter of 1982, Liang Yusheng, who had already extended his service, took off his beloved military uniform and returned to his hometown with an unfulfilled dream to begin a new journey in his life.
Together with the young men in the village, Liang Yusheng went to Zhongshan, Guangzhou and other places to work. In order to earn money to support his parents, Liang Yusheng came to work in a garment factory in Foshan. "in a garment factory with more than 1000 people, there were only a few male car workers. when the factory director heard that I had served in the army, fought, and performed meritorious service, he felt admiration in his heart, so he transferred me to the cutting machine in the clothing factory and introduced me to contract a clothing cutting machine processing line, which gave me a way to make money." Liang Yusheng cherished the opportunity to contract the garment cutting line. "in order to open up the market and increase orders, I often go out early and come home late. I am so busy that I only eat two meals every day, and I am busy until late at night."
In 1988, Liang Yusheng returned to his hometown to demolish a ramshackle mud-brick house and rebuild a two-story building with the first bucket of gold earned by working. "he married a wife that year, and later gave birth to a pair of children." Liang Yusheng said.
Failed in the first battle of returning to his hometown to start a business and grow fruit
After working abroad for more than a decade, Liang Yusheng and his wife decided to return home to start a business. "although the outside world is wonderful, people always have to return to their roots, and there is also a broad world in modern rural areas."
So in 2003, Liang Yusheng returned to his hometown and found that most of the people in his hometown planted tribute oranges and horsewater tangerines. "I thought there was a future for growing fruit, so I contracted the 40 mu of wasteland under the ridge in the village to grow tribute oranges and horse water oranges."
The 40 mu of wasteland under Gushui Village is overgrown with weeds and piles of rocks. Liang Yusheng and his wife worked hard for more than a month every day. Their elderly parents loved their son and daughter-in-law and also worked with them. They removed stones, cleared weeds, transformed 40 mu of wasteland into orchards and planted tribute oranges and horse water oranges.
A few years later, when the fruit season of Kung Kan and Ma Shui tangerine hung, Liang Yusheng was surprised to find that, "more than half of the fruit trees planted that year died, and the living fruit trees also hung very little fruit. Our whole family worked hard for several years, not only did not make money, but lost tens of thousands of yuan."
Send "timely rain" to your comrade-in-arms for saving your life.
"to develop the farming industry in rural areas, it is not enough to be enthusiastic. Technology is very important!" Unwilling to fail, Liang Yu-sheng decided to learn the technique of growing fruit from scratch. "but replanting more than half of the seedlings lost in the orchard cost more than NT $20,000. At that time, there was no way to borrow money, and the money was really worrying!"
Just when Liang Yusheng was worried about the difficulty of raising funds, one of his comrades-in-arms sent 30,000 yuan like timely rain.
Liang Yusheng knew that this comrade-in-arms had been maimed by injuries on the battlefield. "since he was demobilized, his life has not been well-off. This 30,000 yuan is the retirement money of the couple. I can't accept it anyway, and I declined several times." But unexpectedly, this comrade-in-arms shouted to me angrily,'on the battlefield, if you hadn't saved me, I would have died a long time ago. There is no such 30,000 yuan. Now that you have financial difficulties in growing fruit, I should be duty-bound to help you. You can't help me not to return the favor.'" Liang Yusheng was deeply moved by what his comrade-in-arms said from the bottom of his heart. "at that time, he and I both wept, and both of them could not help remembering the scene of sacrificing their lives on the battlefield."
Liang Yusheng's comrade-in-arms recalled to the reporter, "once, I was injured in the head in battle, and there was no stop bleeding. Liang Yusheng carried me straight to the battlefield ambulance station in the rear, but he was found by the enemy and kept firing bullets and shells. I was worried that Liang Yusheng had too big a goal behind my back and risked his life, so I told him to leave me alone and put me down to catch up with the army. But Liang Yusheng shouted to me,'We are comrades-in-arms and brothers of life and death. How could I leave you alone!'"
Liang Yusheng didn't know how he had so much strength. "I ran several kilometers with my injured comrade on my back and handed him over to the doctor at the field ambulance station."
Liang Yusheng did not expect that he thought he had done his part on the battlefield and let his comrade-in-arms remember for most of his life. "after he was demobilized, he came to visit me every year. I had no money to grow fruit this time. He sent me only 30,000 yuan, which made me feel even more valuable."
Self-taught planting and breeding techniques to become "soil experts"
In 2006, after Liang Yusheng replanted gong mandarin and horsewater tangerine in the orchard, he consulted fruit growers in this town and Huaiji county to learn the planting techniques of gong mandarin and horsewater tangerine. At the same time, he also bought a lot of books on growing fruit trees. "he works in the orchard during the day and teaches himself how to grow fruit at night."
Since 2010, Liang Yusheng's orchard began to have a harvest. "the annual net income is more than 100000 yuan."
In 2014, according to the market demand and the aging of some fruit trees, Liang Yusheng newly planted Misi jujube in the orchard and released the ground chicken to establish a three-dimensional planting and breeding model.
Liang Yusheng detailed the benefits of raising native chickens in the orchard. "raising native chickens in the orchard can not only reduce the cost of raising chickens, but also increase the yield of fruit trees." The chicken is raised in the orchard, and the chicken manure becomes the organic fertilizer of the fruit tree. The grass, insects and scattered fruits in the orchard have become the natural feed for chickens. I only need to sprinkle a small amount of corn, bran and other chicken feed at noon and evening every day, and those chickens can have enough to eat. More importantly, because the local chicken tastes good, it is very popular with chicken traders and urban and rural stalls, so there is no market at all. "
Since then, Liang Yusheng has raised several batches of ground chickens in the orchard every year. "each batch has more than 600, and raising ground chickens alone can earn more than 20,000 yuan a year."
In 2015 and 2016, Liang Yusheng planted honey jujube in the orchard with an annual yield of more than 20,000 kilograms. Because this kind of honey jujube is crisp and juicy and has a unique flavor, it is deeply loved by people. "the honey jujube can be sold out in the orchard and earn more than 50,000 yuan a year."
After 13 years of hard work, Liang Yusheng finally turned the 40 mu orchard contracted that year into a cash cow. However, he did not forget his original ideals and aspirations, and always wanted to do something for the poor villagers in the village. "I am a demobilized soldier and a member of the Communist Party. I cannot patronize my family to get rich. It is my bounden duty to help poor villagers get rid of poverty."
Liang Yusheng plans to help poor families grow a few mu of honey jujube next spring. "each household will raise more than 100 ground chickens under the fruit trees. I provide honey jujube seedlings and chicken seedlings free of charge. I am responsible for technical support and marketing, increase their income and lift them out of poverty as soon as possible. "
