Liang Yusheng is a native of Guishui Village, Liangcun Town, Huaiji County. In the early winter of 1977, he signed up for the army and came to serve in the army where the anti-Japanese hero "Langya Mountain five strong Men" once belonged.

Together with the young men in the village, Liang Yusheng went to Zhongshan, Guangzhou and other places to work. The 40 mu of wasteland under Gushui Village is overgrown with weeds and piles of rocks. Liang Yusheng and his wife worked hard for more than a month every day. Their elderly parents loved their son and daughter-in-law and also worked with them. They removed stones, cleared weeds, transformed 40 mu of wasteland into orchards and planted tribute oranges and horse water oranges.
