It is rumored by the local villagers that there are not people living in this building, but some big fat pigs. These pigs live comfortably in and out by taking elevators, blowing air conditioners in hot weather and enjoying warm ground in cold weather.

Approaching this special building, we can see that the people who "live" in this building are really a big fat pig. Upstairs is not only an ordinary staircase, but also a steel-framed elevator.

The breeder went in and out and could only move his legs and take the ordinary stairs. And only pigs can enjoy the treatment of taking the elevator.

It seems that this rumor is really not an exaggeration.

Why is there such a "whimsical idea" to let pigs live in the building?

"this four-story building covers an area of less than one mu, but it can produce nearly 8000 pigs a year. If it were replaced by a traditional pig house, it would take up an estimated 4 mu of land." Zeng Youwen said.

Zeng Youwen said that not only that, compared with traditional pig houses, this kind of "pig house" is better ventilated and daylighting, which is conducive to the growth of pigs; at the same time, cleaning work and feces collection are also easier.

Warm in winter and cool in summer

Zeng Youwen took the author into the building, and a warm current came in his face.

Zeng Youwen said that the building has an automatic temperature control system responsible for the floor heating switch. When the temperature is below 25 ℃, the system starts to work, heating through stainless steel tubes buried in the floor. If the temperature exceeds 30 ℃, the system will shut down automatically.

In summer, the temperature is adjusted through the cooling system of water curtain fan. The system is composed of paper porous wet curtain, water circulation system and fan. When the air passes through the surface of the wet curtain, it will lower its temperature due to the evaporation of a large amount of moisture. When the fan is ventilated, the cold air cooled by the wet curtain will be continuously introduced into the room, so as to achieve the cooling effect.

In addition, the building is also equipped with electric "curtains", which can be adjusted according to sunlight and temperature, so as to achieve the effect of shading, ventilation, heat protection and warmth.

"We just want to create a good environment for pigs to be warm in winter and cool in summer, so that pigs can be healthy and less sick." Zeng Youwen said.

Green ecological quality is good

Such a four-story building, with the floor warm, it is estimated that the cost of a day is not small, right?

"our boilers use biogas, which costs little money." Zeng Youwen replied with a smile.

Zeng Youwen said that there are matching biogas facilities next to the "pig building", including a biogas storage tank with a volume of 1700 cubic meters, an anaerobic fermentor of 600m3, a biogas storage tank of 90m3, and a daily production of biogas of up to 170m3.

"the daily production of biogas is not only enough for their own use, but also provides clean energy for 28 nearby villagers." Zeng Youwen said, "We have also buried 'ground heating' at the bottom of the biogas storage tank to ensure that the production of biogas is not reduced in winter."

In addition, before pig manure enters the pool, dry and wet separation should be carried out through a machine, and the solid part separated is a good organic fertilizer. The biogas slurry after the production of biogas can not only be used as fertilizer, but also has the effect of insecticidal and sterilization.

Therefore, in addition to pig farming, the company has also planted 200 mu of vegetables to make full use of these biogas liquid and dry manure to achieve the "zero use" of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, as well as the "zero discharge" of breeding pollutants. On the other hand, the weeds and excess vegetable leaves brought by vegetable cultivation can be used to feed pigs to form a virtuous circle.

Zeng Youwen said: "through the 'pig-marsh-vegetable' cycle, we can not only reduce the use of feed and improve the quality of pigs, but also produce green and organic vegetables, which is more in line with the consumption needs of modern people."
